In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) Was there a time when the human being did not exist and wasn’t worth mentioning at all?
(2) Indeed. We created the human being from a tiny drop of mixed liquid to test him, and then We gave him the ability to hear and see.
(3) We showed him the Right Way, whether he appreciated it or not.
(4) Indeed. We have prepared for those who don't believe: chains, shackles, and a fierce Fire.
(5) Indeed. The good people, though, will enjoy a special drink of pure wine mixed with camphor.
(6) It's a fountain where those who serve God can drink and enjoy its abundance by their will.
(7) These people keep their promises and fear a scary Day.
(8) They give food to the poor even though they need it, care for orphans, and help the captives.
(9) They say, "We do it all for the sake of God, without expecting any reward or thanks.
(10) We're scared of a Day when God might be upset and stern with us."
(11) But God will protect them from the fear of that Day and give them radiance and joy.
(12) They will be rewarded with a beautiful garden and silk for being patient.
(13) They'll relax on thrones and won't have to worry about the sun or frost.
(14) There'll be plenty of shade and low-hanging fruit to enjoy.
(15) They'll have silver vessels and crystal cups passed around.
(16) Shiny silver cups will be filled precisely as they wish with the best crystal-clear drinks.
(17) They'll be served ginger-flavored wine from a special spring.
(18) This spring is called Salsabeel.
(19) And young people who never age will be there to serve them. They'll look as precious as pearls.
(20) And the more you look, the happier and more expansive it will seem.
(21) They'll be dressed in green silk and satin, adorned with silver bracelets, and given a pure drink by their Lord.
(22) Their Lord will say, "This is your reward, and We appreciate your efforts."
(23) Indeed. We've revealed the Quran slowly, bit by bit.
(24) So, be patient, and don't follow those who do wrong or show ingratitude.
(25) Remember your Lord in prayer in the morning and evening.
(26) Spend part of the night in devotion and praise to God.
(27) Some people only care about this life but forget the Day of Judgment.
(28) We created them, shaped them perfectly, and can replace them with others whenever We want.
(29) This is a Reminder that those who want to follow the Right Path should do so.
(30) Remember, you can't want something unless it's God's will. Indeed, He knows everything and is Wise.
(31) God shows mercy to those He chooses, but the wrongdoers will face a painful punishment.
