In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) By the Day Of Reality.
(2) So, what exactly is this Day Of Reality?
(3) How can you even begin to understand this Day Of Reality?
(4) Thamud and Aad refused to believe in this shocking disaster.
(5) A vast, powerful explosion destroyed the people of Thamud.
(6) A freezing, howling, and violent wind destroyed the people of Aad.
(7) God sent this terrible wind against them for eight days and seven nights. Imagine, people were lying dead everywhere like empty tree trunks.
(8) Can you find anyone from those times still around?
(9) Even Pharaoh, the people before him, and those from the overturned cities all did the ultimate sin.
(10) They didn't listen to God's messenger and faced a mighty punishment.
(11) Indeed, when the waters flooded everything, We carried you in the floating Ark with Noah.
(12) This story is a reminder so you can pay attention and understand it.
(13) Then, when a loud horn is blown,
(14) The earth and mountains will shake and crumble together.
(15) On that Day, the Inevitable Event will happen.
(16) Then, the sky will split and be very fragile.
(17) Angels will surround it, and your Lord's Throne will be carried by eight angels.
(18) Everything you keep secret on that Day will be revealed.
(19) Whoever gets his record in his right hand, he'll be very happy, crying, "Here, everyone! Read my record!
(20) I knew I'd have to answer for my actions."
(21) So, he'll live a super happy life.
(22) In a fabulous Garden that's elevated.
(23) Fruits will be easy to reach and enjoy.
(24) It will be said, "Eat and drink joyfully for what you did in the past."
(25) But whoever gets his record in his left hand, he'll cry, "I wish I never received this record,
(26) And I never learned what my score was.
(27) I wish this could be the end.
(28) All my money can't help me at all.
(29) I've lost all my power.”
(30) It will be said, "Grab him and tie him up.
(31) Then burn him in Hell.
(32) Then chain him with a seventy-cubit chain.
(33) He never really believed in the Great God.
(34) And he never bothered to help the poor.
(35) So today, he has no friend here.
(36) Nor any food except nasty oozing pus.
(37) It's a gross meal that only sinners eat.”
(38) I swear by what you can see.
(39) And by what you can't see.
(40) Indeed, these are the words of an honorable messenger.
(41) It's not something a poet says. Hardly anyone believes it.
(42) It's not what a fortune-teller predicts. Not many think it's true.
(43) It's a message from the Lord of the Universe.
(44) If someone made up lies about Us,
(45) We'd catch them by their right arm.
(46) And cut off their main lifeline.
(47) Nobody could save them from Us.
(48) Indeed, this message is meant for good-hearted people.
(49) We know some of you deny it.
(50) But they'll deeply regret it.
(51) Indeed, It's the absolute truth.
(52) So praise and honor the Name of your Lord, the Greatest One.
