In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) Blessed is the One in Whose Hands is all authority and is Capable of anything.
(2) The One Who created life and death to see who's the best of you in behavior. He's the All-Powerful, the All-Forgiving.
(3) The One Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You'll never find any imperfections in what the Most Merciful has created. Look closely. Can you spot any errors?
(4) Look again and then again, and your eyes will tire.
(5) Indeed, We've decorated the lowest heaven with shining stars, and We use them to chase away the devils. We have prepared the torment of the Blaze for them.
(6) Those who don't believe in their Lord will suffer in Hell, and that's a terrible place!
(7) When they get thrown in, they'll hear it roar as it bubbles.
(8) It's so furious that it could break. Its guards will ask them, "Didn't a warner come to you?"
(9) They'll say, "Yes, we had a warner, but we didn't listen and said, ‘God didn't send any message. You are misguided.’"
(10) They will lament, “Only if we had listened and thought about it. Then we wouldn't have ended up in the Blazing Fire.”
(11) And so they'll admit their mistakes, but it's too late for them.
(12) Those who fear God secretly will be forgiven and greatly rewarded.
(13) God knows your hidden thoughts, whether you say them or not. He knows what is in everyone’s heart.
(14) Does He not know what He has created? He is the Most Kind, the All-Aware.
(15) He made the earth wide for you, so explore its regions and eat from His provision. And you'll all be resurrected back to Him.
(16) Do you feel so safe that the One in Heaven will not let the ground swallow you when it shakes hard?
(17) Or do you feel so safe that the One in heaven will not send a storm of stones upon you? You'll know His warning then.
(18) Those who came before them certainly rejected God's message, and My reaction was severe indeed!
(19) Do they ever notice how birds soar in the sky, spreading and tucking their wings? Indeed, God, the Compassionate, keeps them up there, watching over everything they do.
(20) Do you have an army to protect you instead of the Most Compassionate? Indeed, the disbelievers are fooled.
(21) Who else will care for you if God decides not to give you what you need? Instead, some people act proudly and turn away from what's true.
(22) Who is better: Someone who walks on their face or someone who walks straight on the Straight Path?
(23) Say, “He is the One Who brought you into being and gave you hearing, eyes, and hearts. But not many of you are grateful.”
(24) Say, “He is the One Who spreads you all over the earth, and everyone will return to Him.”
(25) They ask, "When will this promise come true?"
(26) Say, "God knows, and I'm just here to warn you."
(27) Then, when disbelievers see the punishment coming, their faces will become gloomy. And they will be told, “This is what you asked for.”
(28) Say, “If God decides to punish me and those with me or have mercy on us, who can save the disbelievers from a painful punishment?”
(29) Say, “We believe in the Compassionate God and trust in Him. You'll see who's truly lost.”
(30) Say, “If your water dries up, who can bring you fresh, flowing water?”
