In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) Everything in the heavens and the earth praises God. He's the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
(2) He owns the heavens and the earth. He gives life and takes it away, And He is Most Capable of everything.
(3) He's the First and will be the Last. He has perfect knowledge of everything.
(4) He created the heavens and the earth in six days, then settled Himself upon the Throne. He knows what goes in and out of the earth and what falls from heaven or goes up. He's always with you, and He sees everything you do.
(5) The heavens and the earth belong to God, and all matters return to Him.
(6) He merges the night into day and the day into night, and He knows what's in people’s hearts.
(7) Believe in God and His Messenger, and donate from what He has given you. Those who believe and donate will receive a great reward.
(8) And why don't you believe in God when the Messenger asks you to believe in your Lord, even though He's already made a covenant with you that you'll believe?
(9) He is the One Who sends clear messages to His servant to bring you from darkness into light. Indeed, God is Kind and Merciful to you.
(10) And why not spend for God's sake when everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him? Those who spent and fought before the conquest of Mecca are special—they're higher in status than those who did so later. But God promises rewards to everyone. He knows all about your actions.
(11) Who among you will give God a good loan? He'll give you more in return, and you'll get a great reward.
(12) On that special Day, you'll see believing men and women with light leading them and on their right side. They'll be told, "Good news for you! You'll have beautiful Gardens with rivers flowing underneath. This is the Ultimate Success!"
(13) Imagine the Day when the fake believers, both men and women, will say to the genuine believers, "Wait for us; we want some of your light too!" But they will be told, "No, you'll have to return and find your light." Then, a big wall with a gate will appear between them. On one side, there's mercy, but on the other, there's suffering.
(14) The suffering people will ask the believers, "Weren't we hanging out with you before?" The believers will reply, "Yes, you were, but you made bad choices; you waited for the death of our prophet and ours, you started doubting what's true, and you let your wishes mislead you. In the end, God's decision for your fate came true, and the Devil fooled you about God."
(15) They'll be told, "Today, no ransom will be accepted from you or the non-believers. Fire is your home now, and it will be a terrible place to stay!"
(16) Isn't it time for the believers to have humble hearts, to remember God, accept the truth that's been given to them, and not to be like those who received the Scripture before but then ignored it for so long that their hearts became hard, and most of them started doing wrong things?
(17) Know that God makes dead land come back to life. We've explained the signs to help you think and understand.
(18) Indeed, those who give charity to others, whether men or women, and lend God a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they'll get a great reward.
(19) Those who believe in God and His messengers are indeed the people of truth. And the martyrs with their Lord will get rewarded and have their light. But those who don't believe and ignore God's signs are the people of the Hellfire.
(20) Remember, this life is like a game filled with fun, showing off, making money, and having kids. It's like rain that makes disbelievers happy by growing plants, but then they turn yellow, dry up, and become worthless. There's either punishment or God's mercy and approval in the afterlife. So, this temporary life is all an illusion.
(21) Strive to earn God's forgiveness and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth. It's a gift from God for those who believe in Him and His messengers. God's grace is limitless.
(22) Everything that happens on earth or within yourselves, whether good or bad, is already written in God's Record before it happens. This is easy for God.
(23) So that you won't be sad about what you missed or boast about what you have. God doesn't like people who are proud and boastful.
(24) Those who are stingy and encourage others to be stingy. If you turn away from generosity, remember that God doesn't need anything from anyone; He's Self-Sufficient and Praiseworthy.
(25) We have sent Our messengers to guide people and gave them clear signs, along with Scriptures and a fair justice system to follow. We also sent down iron, which has great might and benefits for people, to prove who is willing to stand up for God and His messengers without seeing Him. God is Incredibly Strong and Powerful.
(26) We have sent Noah and Abraham and chose their descendants to be prophets and receive scriptures. Some of those who followed them learned the right way to live, but most were stubborn and didn't listen.
(27) Later, We sent more messengers to follow in their footsteps. One of them was Jesus, the son of Mary. We gave him the Gospel. We also placed a lot of caring and mercy in the hearts of his followers. Some decided to live like monks and nuns, even though God didn't command them to do that. They didn't even stick to the rules they made for themselves. But the ones who truly believed were rewarded by God. Sadly, many of them were disobedient.
(28) O you who believe! Be mindful of God and believe in His Messenger; you'll get a great reward from God: double the mercy, a light to show you the way, and forgiveness. God is Very Forgiving and Merciful.
(29) This is all so that the People of the Book who don't accept Prophet Muhammad will realize that they can't control God's grace. All the grace comes from God, who gives it to whomever He wants. God's grace has no limits.
