In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) By Mount Tur of Sinai!

(2) And by this written Book.

(3) In an open, published scroll.

(4) And by the Heavenly Sacred House often visited by angels.

(5) And by the sky raised above.

(6) And by the sea set on fire.

(7) Yes, your Lord's punishment will surely come to pass.

(8) No one can stop it.

(9) The Day the sky shakes a great shaking.

(10) Mountains will be blown away, drifting like clouds.

(11) So, woe to those who deny it.

(12) Those who make fun and play around.

(13) The Day they're pushed into Hell against their will.

(14) They will be told, "This is the Fire you didn't believe in.

(15) Can't you see? Or is this some magic?

(16) Roast in it, whether you are patient or impatient, the outcome remains the same. You get what you deserve for your deeds.”

(17) Indeed, the God-fearing people are in beautiful gardens, so happy.

(18) Enjoying what their Lord gave them, and their Lord has saved them from the torment of Hell's Fire.

(19) They will be told, “Eat, drink, and be merry for the good deeds you used to do.”

(20) Sitting on thrones, facing each other. We will match them with beautiful spouses who have stunning eyes.

(21) For those who believe and their children who keep that faith too, We will unite them with each other. And We will not take away their good deeds, as everyone will receive what they have earned.

(22) We'll give them all the fruits and meat they want.

(23) They'll share pure wine and have fun together without silly talk or bad stuff.

(24) There will be young youths like hidden gems serving them.

(25) They'll chat and ask each other in the middle of Paradise about their state of bliss.

(26) They'll say, "We used to be scared of displeasing God in our families.

(27) So, God blessed us and saved us from the punishment of the blowing Fire.

(28) Indeed, We used to pray to Him because He's the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.”

(29) So, continue to remind them with this Quran, O Prophet. You're not a fortune teller or a crazy person, thanks to God's grace.

(30) Or do they say, "He's just a poet. Let's wait until he dies"?

(31) Tell them, "You wait, and I'll be here waiting with you."

(32) Are they told to act this way in their dreams, or are they mean?

(33) Or do they say about the Quran, "He has made it all up"? But, indeed, they don't believe it.

(34) Let them devise something like this if they're telling the truth.

(35) Were they created from nothing, or were they the creators?

(36) Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Indeed, they're not sure.

(37) Do they own your Lord's treasures, or are they in control?

(38) Or do they have a ladder to climb to the heavens and listen in on God? Well, they better show some proof!

(39) Or does He have daughters while you have sons?

(40) Or are you, O Prophet, asking them for money for this message, and they are afraid they can't pay you back?

(41) Or can they see the future so they write it down?

(42) Or are they plotting something terrible against the prophet? Then, those who don't believe will be caught in their traps.

(43) Or do they have a god other than God? Glory be to God! He is far above what they associate with Him.

(44) And when they see pieces of the sky falling, they call it a pile of clouds.

(45) So, let them be until the Day they are struck dead.

(46) On that Day, their plots won't help them, and no one will save them against God.

(47) People who do wrong by disbelieving will face another punishment besides that Day, but many don't realize it.

(48) Be patient in delivering your Lord's messages; You are under the care of Our Watchful Eyes. So, praise your Lord when you wake up.

(49) Praise Him at night with all glory, and when the stars disappear.
