In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) Qawf. By the Glorious Quran.
(2) They are surprised that a messenger from among their people has come to warn them. The non-believers say, “This is a strange thing!
(3) Can we return to life after we die and turn into dust? That sounds impossible.”
(4) We know for sure what happens to people after they die and are buried in the ground, and We have a carefully kept record of everything.
(5) They reject the truth when it is presented to them, so they're all confused.
(6) Have they ever looked at the sky above them? We made it strong and beautiful, with no cracks.
(7) And We spread out the earth and placed in it firm mountains and produced all sorts of pleasant plants in pairs.
(8) These are lessons for everyone who turns to God.
(9) We sent down blessed rain from the heavens, growing gardens and crops.
(10) There are tall palm trees with lots of dates.
(11) All of this is provided for God's servants. We can bring life back to lifeless land. That's like resurrection.
(12) In the past, the people of Noah, Russ, and Thamud didn't believe.
(13) A'ad, Pharaoh, and Lot's people were the same.
(14) The people of the Forest and the people of Tubba also rejected the messengers, and Our warnings came true.
(15) Did We get tired after creating the world for the first time? No, but they doubt a new creation.
(16) Indeed, We created humans and know what they think. We're closer to them than their veins.
(17) Two angels, one on the right and one on the left, are recording everything carefully.
(18) A person doesn't say a word, but an angel keeps an eye on him, ready to write it down.
(19) The pain of death is real, and this is what you tried to avoid.
(20) The Trumpet will be blown, and this is the Day you were warned about.
(21) Every person will come with an angel guiding him and another to testify.
(22) God will say to those who ignored Him, "You were completely unaware of this. But now, We've removed your blindness, so you can see clearly today!"
(23) The accompanying angel will say, "I have the record ready."
(24) The two angels will be told, "Throw every stubborn disbeliever into Hell,
(25) Those who prevented good things and had many doubts.
(26) People who fabricated other gods with God. Put them in the most severe punishment."
(27) Their evil companion will say, "Lord, I didn't make him do wrong; he went the wrong way himself."
(28) God will say, "Don't argue with Me when I warned you before.
(29) My word doesn't change, and I'm fair to everyone."
(30) O Prophet, remember the Day We ask Hell, "Are you full?" And it says, "Is there more?"
(31) Paradise will be brought near to the good people, not far away.
(32) They will be told, "This is what you were promised if you turned to God and followed His rules.
(33) Those who feared God without seeing Him and asked for forgiveness with a sincere heart.
(34) Enter it in peace; this is the Day of eternal life!
(35) They'll find what they're looking for and more.
(36) Think about all the powerful generations before them that We destroyed. When their punishment came, they desperately searched for a way out, but was there any escape?
(37) There's a reminder here for anyone with a caring heart who listens closely and pays attention.
(38) We made the heavens, the earth, and everything in between in just six days, and We didn't get tired at all.
(39) So, stay calm when you hear what others are saying. Praise your Lord before the sun comes up and before it sets.
(40) Also, show your gratitude during the night and after prayers.
(41) Keep an ear out for the Day when a call comes from someone nearby.
(42) That's the Day when everyone will hear a loud trumpet blast. It's the Day when everyone will rise from their graves.
(43) We're the ones who give life and bring death, and everyone will return to Us in the end.
(44) On that Day, the ground will crack open, and people will come rushing out. It'll be an easy gathering for Us.
(45) We know what they're saying, and you're not supposed to force them to believe. Just remind those who fear what I've warned about using the Quran.
