In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) O you who believe! Don't think your opinions are more important than what God and His Messenger say. Always be respectful and remember to fear God because He's always listening and knows everything.

(2) O you who believe! Don't talk louder than the Prophet or speak to him like you do to your friends; your good deeds might not count without you even realizing it.

(3) Indeed, those who speak softly around the Messenger of God are the ones God tests their hearts for goodness. They'll be forgiven and get a great reward.

(4) Indeed, most people who call you from behind your private rooms don't understand manners.

(5) It would be better if they waited for you to come out to them. But God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(6) O you who believe! If an evildoer tells you something, double-check it before you act on it. You don't want to hurt people by mistake and feel sorry later.

(7) Remember, God's Messenger is here with you. If he had followed all your requests, life would have been tough. But God has filled your hearts with love for faith and made you hate disbelief, rebellion, and disobedience. These are on the Right Path!

(8) This is God’s bounty and blessing; God knows everything and is Wise.

(9) If two groups of people who believe in God start fighting, try to make them stop fighting and be friends again. But if one group starts the fight, then fight that group until they listen to God's rules. If they agree to follow the rules, then make peace between both groups fairly. God likes fairness.

(10) People who believe in God are like brothers and sisters, so make them get along and remember God so you can receive mercy from Him.

(11) O you who believe! Don't make fun of others because they might be better than you. And don't let some women make fun of other women, because they could be better than them too. Don't talk wrong about each other or give insulting nicknames. Being mean after you've believed is not good. If you don't repent and change, you're being unfair.

(12) O you who believe! Don't think bad things about each other because some of these thoughts are sinful. And don't spy on or talk behind each other's backs. Would you want to eat your own brother's flesh? Gross, right? So, remember God. He is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(13) O everyone! Indeed, We have created you from a male and a female, then made you different nations so that you all may get to know each other. The best person in God's sight is the one who does good things, no matter where they're from. God is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware!

(14) Some desert dwellers claim, "We have faith." Tell them, "No, you haven't truly believed yet. Instead, say, 'We've submitted,' because faith hasn't settled in your hearts. But if you follow God and His Messenger completely, He won't take away your good deeds. God is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful."

(15) Truly, the believers are the ones who have strong faith in God and His Messenger. They never doubt and work hard for God with their money and lives. These are the honest ones.

(16) Ask, "Are you telling God about your faith when God knows everything in the heavens and the earth? God knows all things very well."

(17) They think that becoming a Muslim is a favor they do for you. But, O Prophet, say to them, "Don't think your Islam is a favor to me. It's a favor from God for guiding you to the faith if you are indeed sincere."

(18) God truly knows the hidden things in the heavens and the earth and watches everything you do.
