In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) Hha, Mim.

(2) By the Clear Book.

(3) Indeed, We sent it to you on a Blessed Night. We want you to be aware.

(4) In that Night, everything necessary gets decided.

(5) We make those decisions. We've been sending messages.

(6) It's a sign of mercy from your Lord. He hears everything and knows everything.

(7) He's the Master of the heavens, the earth, and everything in between, if you're sure.

(8) There's no god except Him. He gives life and takes it away. He's your Lord and your ancestors' Lord.

(9) But some people have doubts and are playing around.

(10) So, be ready for a Day when the sky will fill with visible smoke.

(11) It will cover everyone and be a painful punishment.

(12) People will cry, "God, please stop this! We believe in you!"

(13) But how can they remember when a messenger has already explained everything?

(14) Then, they ignored him and said, "He's just a crazy person taught by others."

(15) We will surely ease up on punishing you for a bit, but you guys in Mecca will go back to not believing.

(16) On the Day when We strike the most significant blow, We take revenge.

(17) We tested the people of Pharaoh before, and a noble messenger came to them.

(18) He told Pharaoh, "Let God's people go with me. I'm an honest messenger.

(19) Don't act like you're above God. I've got clear proof with me.

(20) I ask my Lord and your Lord to protect me from being stoned.

(21) If you don't believe me, stay away from me."

(22) He prayed to his Lord, "These people are evil."

(23) God said, "Leave with My servants at night. Someone will follow you for sure.

(24) Cross the sea, and when it's split, they'll be drowned."

(25) How many gardens and cool fountains did they leave behind?

(26) They left crops and nice houses.

(27) They used to enjoy blessings.

(28) So, We let others take over.

(29) Not even the heavens or the earth cried for them, and they didn't get a second chance.

(30) And We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment.

(31) Pharaoh was a real evil person.

(32) And We knowingly chose the Children of Israel over all others.

(33) And gave them lots of signs and clear tests.

(34) Indeed, these Meccans say,

(35) "We only live once and won't be brought back to life.

(36) Bring back our ancestors if you're telling the truth."

(37) Were they better than the people of Tubba' and those before them? We wiped them out. They were evil.

(38) We didn't create the heavens and the earth for fun.

(39) We made them for a reason, but most people don't know.

(40) The Day of Judgment is their set time.

(41) On that day, friends won't help each other, and no one will get assistance.

(42) Except for those whom God has mercy on. He's the All-Powerful, the Most Merciful.

(43) Indeed, the Tree of Zaqqoom

(44) Is what the sinful will eat.

(45) It's like molten metal boiling in their bellies.

(46) Like hot boiling water.

(47) It will be said, "Grab him and take him to the middle of Hell!

(48) Then pour scalding hot water on his head as punishment."

(49) He'll be told, "Feel this pain. You thought you were so strong and noble.

(50) This is what you were unsure about before."

(51) The good people will indeed be in a safe place.

(52) They'll be in beautiful gardens with flowing springs.

(53) Wearing fancy silk clothes and looking at each other.

(54) That's the deal. And We'll pair them up with spouses who have pretty eyes.

(55) They can have any fruit they want, fresh and safe.

(56) They won't taste death again after their first time. God will protect them from the torment of Hellfire.

(57) It's a gift from your Lord. That's the greatest success, for sure.

(58) Indeed, We made this Quran easy to understand in your language so they can remember.

(59) So, be patient and watch. They will be watching, too.
