In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) Hha, Mim.
(2) By the Clear Book.
(3) We've made this Quran in Arabic; maybe you'll understand.
(4) And it's definitely with Us in the Source Book, supreme and full of wisdom.
(5) So, should We hide this message just because you've been doing wrong?
(6) Think about how many prophets We sent to those destroyed before!
(7) Whenever a messenger came to them, they made fun of him.
(8) So, We destroyed people even mightier than these folks in Mecca, and what happened in the old days is now history.
(9) And if you ask them, O Prophet, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" They'll say, "The All-Powerful, the All-Knowing One did."
(10) The One Who made the earth comfy for you and gave you roads to get around.
(11) The One Who sends rain just right, bringing dead land back to life. That's how you'll rise from the grave.
(12) The One Who created everything in pairs, giving you ships and animals to ride.
(13) You can sit on their backs, remember your Lord’s blessings, and say, "Glory be to Him Who made this possible for us; we couldn't do it alone.
(14) We'll go back to our Lord for sure."
(15) Some people made some of His servants part of Him. Indeed, people are ungrateful.
(16) Does God choose to grant you boys while reserving daughters for Himself from His creations?
(17) When someone is told they have a baby girl, just as they believed God has daughters for Himself, their face darkens and becomes gloomy as they hold back tears.
(18) So, are they saying that God's servants, who grow up surrounded by luxuries but can't stand up for their rights when mistreated, are part of Him?
(19) They even call the angels who serve God "females." Have they seen how angels were created? Their claims are recorded, and they will be questioned.
(20) They say, "If God wanted, we wouldn't worship them." But they have no proof of this claim. They're just making things up.
(21) Did We give them a Scripture before this Quran that they stick to?
(22) But they say, "We have found our ancestors follow a way, and we are guided following their footsteps."
(23) And whenever We sent a warner to cities before you, O Prophet, the rich and spoiled people said, "We have found our ancestors follow a way, and we are following in their footsteps."
(24) The warner asked them, "Even if what I bring you is better than what your ancestors followed?" They always replied, "We reject what you're saying."
(25) We sent a big punishment to those people who didn't believe in God. So, see what happened to the deniers!
(26) Abraham once told his father and the people around him, "I don't believe in the gods you're worshiping,
(27) I only believe in the One Who created me. He'll show me the Way."
(28) He also passed down the idea of believing in one God to his children so they could always turn to Him.
(29) But I gave these people in Mecca and their ancestors a good life until the truth came with a messenger who made everything crystal clear.
(30) But when the truth came, they called it magic and refused to believe it.
(31) They even said, "Why wasn't this Quran revealed to a powerful person from one of the two cities?"
(32) Can they decide how God's mercy is divided? We give everyone their share of things in this world; some people have more than others. But God's mercy is way better than any wealth.
(33) And if everyone started disbelieving in God altogether, We would've given those who don't believe in the Most Compassionate nice houses with silver roofs and staircases to climb.
(34) They'd have fancy gates and furniture in which they recline.
(35) And all kinds of ornaments like gold jewelry. But all of this is just some fun in this life. But the afterlife, with your Lord, is for those who remember Him.
(36) And if someone turns away from the Reminder of the Most Compassionate, We will assign an evil friend to be his companion.
(37) These evil friends lead them away from the Right Path, even though they think they're on the right track.
(38) Until they face judgment, they'll wish they were far away from their evil friend, saying, "I wish we were distant from each other as far as the east is from the west! You were a terrible companion!"
(39) They'll be told, "Regret won't help you now because both of you did wrong. You both share the punishment today."
(40) So, can you, O Prophet, make those who don't listen, listen? Can you guide those who can't see or those who are lost?
(41) So, even if We take you away, We'll ensure they get what they deserve.
(42) Or, if We show you what We've warned them about, We have complete control over them.
(43) So, stick to what's been revealed to you. You're definitely on the Right Path.
(44) And indeed, this Quran is a reminder for you and your people, and you'll be questioned about it.
(45) Ask those messengers We sent before you: "Did We set up other gods to worship alongside the Most Compassionate?"
(46) We sent Moses to Pharaoh and his leaders with powerful signs. Moses said, "I'm a messenger from the Lord of all Worlds."
(47) But when he showed them these signs, they laughed at him.
(48) Despite each sign being more impressive than the last, they were still stubborn. So, We punished them, hoping they would change their ways.
(49) They asked Moses, "Please, pray to your Lord for us, and we promise to follow the Right Path."
(50) But when the punishment stopped, they immediately broke their promise.
(51) Pharaoh proudly told his people, "O my people! Do I not rule Egypt, and these rivers are under my control? Don't you see that?
(52) And am I not better than this nobody who can barely speak up?
(53) Why didn't gold bracelets fall on him, or angels accompany him?"
(54) Pharaoh fooled his people, and they listened to him. They were rebellious.
(55) So, when they made Us angry, We punished them by drowning them all.
(56) And We made their story a lesson for future generations.
(57) And when Jesus, son of Mary, was mentioned as an example, some people laughed.
(58) They asked, "Who's better: Our gods or Jesus?" They just brought up his name for arguing. In reality, they're folks who love to argue.
(59) He's just a special servant. We've blessed and made an example for the Children of Israel.
(60) And if We wanted, We could have replaced you with angels, letting them take turns living on earth.
(61) And when Jesus returns, it's a sign that the Hour is happening. So don't doubt it and follow me. It's the Right Path.
(62) Don't let Satan lead you astray. He's your worst enemy.
(63) And when Jesus came with clear proofs, he said, "I'm here to share wisdom and explain things you're arguing about. So be mindful of God and listen to me.
(64) God is my Lord and yours, so worship Him. It's the Right Path."
(65) Different groups couldn't agree about Jesus. So, it's tough for the wrongdoers when they suffer on a painful Day.
(66) Are they just waiting for the Hour to surprise them when they're not ready?
(67) On that Day, close friends, except the good ones, will become enemies.
(68) They'll be told, "O My servants! Don't fear or be sad today.
(69) Those who believed in Our signs and fully submitted to Us,
(70) Enter paradise joyfully with your loved ones.”
(71) They'll be served with fancy golden trays and cups; whatever their heart desires and eyes find pleasing, they'll have it forever.
(72) That's the Paradise you'll inherit based on your actions.
(73) You'll have lots of tasty fruits to enjoy.
(74) But the wrongdoers will indeed face never-ending torment in Hell.
(75) Their suffering won't ease, and they'll lose all hope.
(76) And We did not wrong them; they brought their suffering upon themselves.
(77) They'll cry, "O Malek, ask your Lord to end our pain." But he will answer, "You're here to stay."
(78) We've given you the truth, but most of you hate it.
(79) Or do they plot evil? Well, We're planning too.
(80) Don't they think We hear their secret thoughts and schemes? We do. Our messenger angels record everything.
(81) Tell them, O Prophet, "If the Most Compassionate had a child, I'd be the first to worship."
(82) Praise be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the One Who rules from His majestic Throne, far above what people talk about.
(83) So let them make fun and goof around until the Day they've been warned about actually comes.
(84) It's God, the Only God in the heavens and the Only God in the earth. He's Super Wise and knows everything.
(85) And Blessed is God! He's the Owner of everything in the heavens, the earth, and between. Only He knows when the Hour will happen, and you'll all return to Him.
(86) The things they pray to instead of God can't help them, except for those who truly understand and speak the truth.
(87) And if you ask who created them, they'd say, "Definitely God." So, how could they get lost from the truth?
(88) God was Aware when the Prophet cried out, "My Lord, indeed, these people just won't believe."
(89) So, be patient, forgive, and say, "Peace." They'll figure it out eventually.
