In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) O Everyone! Be mindful of your Lord, Who created all of you from one soul, and He created its mate from that soul. From them, He made many men and women. Be mindful of God, the One you promise by when solving your problems, and don't break ties with your family. God is always watching over you.

(2) Always treat orphans kindly and give them their inheritance when they grow up. Do not swap their good things for your bad stuff, and don't mix their money with yours. Doing that is indeed a major sin.

(3) If you're worried about being unfair to orphan girls when marrying them, you can marry other women. You can marry two, three, or four if you treat them fairly. But if you can't, marry one or what you already have from your bondwomen. This helps you avoid being unjust.

(4) Give women their dowries happily. But if they choose to let you keep some of it, then enjoy it with a good heart.

(5) Be careful not to hand over your money or valuable things to family members who don't use them wisely. Instead, use that money to provide food and clothes for them and always speak to them with kindness.

(6) Check how well the orphans can handle things until they're old enough to get married. If you think they can make good decisions, give them their money back. But don't spend it all quickly or on unnecessary things before they grow up and ask for it. If the person taking care of them is rich, they shouldn't take any payment. But if they're poor, they can take a fair amount. When you return the orphans' money, have some people there as witnesses. And remember, God is watching and keeping track of everything.

(7) Regarding inheritance, men and women have a share of what their parents and family leave behind, whether small or significant—it's a fair and legal share.

(8) If there are other family members, orphans, or people in need when the inheritance is being shared, give them something from it and be kind when you talk to them.

(9) Make sure those looking after orphans care for them just like they would care for their kids if they were no longer around. So, be mindful of God and speak fairly.

(10) Certainly! Those who unfairly take money from orphans are swallowing fire into their bellies. And they'll end up burning in a hot and fiery Hell!

(11) God has rules about sharing your stuff when you're no longer around. A male gets double what the female receives. If there are two or more females left, they share two-thirds of your things. But if there's only one female, she gets half.

If you have children, each parent gets a sixth of your things. But your mom gets a third if you don't have children and your parents are still around. If you have brothers or sisters, your mom gets a sixth after you take care of any special requests or money you owe.

Being fair to your parents and children is essential because you never really know who's been more helpful to you. This is an obligation from God. Indeed, God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

(12) If your wife doesn't have children, you get half of what she leaves when she passes away. But if she has children, your share is one-fourth after paying off any debts or gifts. If you do not have children, your wife gets one-fourth of what you leave. She gets one-eighth after paying off debts or gifts if you have children.

Now, if you don't have parents or children but only a brother or sister from your mom's side, each of you gets one-sixth. But if there's more than one sibling, you all share one-third after taking care of debts and gifts without causing harm to anyone. This rule comes from God, Who is All-Knowing and Most Patient.

(13) God sets these limits. If you follow them and obey God and His Messenger, you'll be rewarded with a place in Gardens with rivers flowing underneath, where you'll stay forever. That's the ultimate success!

(14) But if you disobey God and His Messenger and cross the boundaries set by Him, you'll end up in a never-ending fire with a humiliating punishment.

(15) And If women among you commit adultery, get four people you trust to testify that it is true. If they testify, then these women should stay at home until they die or until God decides something else.

(16) If two guys are involved in such behavior, punish them. However, if they show remorse and change their ways, leave them alone. Indeed, God is always ready to forgive and very Merciful.

(17) God forgives those who make mistakes because they didn't know any better and sincerely repent soon after and try to make things right. God will forgive those, and God is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

(18) But if someone keeps on sinning until their last breath and only says when he is almost dying, "Now I am sorry," or if they die without believing in God, their apology will not be accepted. For them, there's a painful punishment waiting.

(19) O you who believe! Remember, it's not okay to inherit women against their will or mistreat them to take some of their dowry unless they've been openly unfaithful. Treat them kindly; if you don't like them, you might overlook something that could be a big blessing from God.

(20) And if you decide to replace one wife with another, and you've already given them a bunch of gold as a dowry, don't try to take any of it back. Would you take it deceitfully and sinfully? How can you change your mind and take it back after having enjoyed each other intimately, and she has taken a firm promise from you?

(22) Don't marry the same women your fathers have married unless it happened in the past. It was a wrong, shameful, and just plain evil practice.

(23) You can't marry certain family members, like your mom, daughter, sister, aunts from both sides, nieces from your brother or sister, foster mom or sister, mother-in-law, and stepdaughter if you've already had a relationship with their mom. But, if you haven't, you can marry them. You also can't marry your son's wife or two sisters simultaneously unless it happened before. God is the Most Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(24) It is also forbidden for you to marry married women—unless they are prisoners of war that you own. That's what God wants you to do. But you're allowed to marry anyone else, as long as you do it properly with a legal marriage, not just fooling around. And if you do get married, make sure to give your wife the agreed-upon dowry. You can also be friendly and agree on a different dowry after that. Indeed, God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

(25) If any of you can't afford to marry a free-believing woman, then you can marry a believing woman who may be a servant owned by someone. God knows about your faith and theirs. You're all part of the same community. Get permission from the owner and pay a fair dowry if they are good, not committing adultery or taking secret lovers. If they commit adultery after marriage, their punishment is half that of free women. This is for those of you who want to avoid falling into sin. But being patient is even better. God is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(26) God wants to make things clear for you, guide you in the footsteps of those who came before you, and be kind to you. God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

(27) God wants to be kind to you, but people who do whatever they feel like want to see you go entirely off track from what God wants for you.

(28) God wants to make your life easier because the human was created weak.

(29) O you who believe! Don't take wealth from others without permission. Instead, trade with an agreement. And don't kill others or yourself. Indeed, God is always Merciful to you.

(30) And if someone does that purposefully and is mean to others, We will make him taste the Fire. And that is easy for God.

(31) If you stay away from the big sins forbidden to you, We will forgive your more minor mistakes and welcome you to a special place of honor.

(32) Don't be jealous of what others have. Men will be rewarded for what they do, and women will be rewarded for their actions, too. Instead of being envious, ask God for His blessings. God knows everything perfectly.

(33) We have decided who gets what when their parents or close family pass away. If you promised someone something, keep your word and give them what you agreed.  Indeed, God is a Witness to everything that happens.

(34) Men are supposed to care for women because God has given them more responsibilities, and they often use their money to take care of things. Good women are loyal and protect what God has given them when alone. If you fear your woman behaving poorly, talk to her about it first. If she keeps doing it, don't share the same bed; if she still doesn't stop, discipline her gently. If they start following your advice, don't be harsh with them.  God is the Most High, the Greatest.

(35) If you think a breakup might happen between them, get someone from his family and someone from hers to help sort things out. God will bring them back together if they want to make things right. Indeed, God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

(36) Worship God alone without adding anything else to Him. And be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, the near neighbor, the distant neighbor, close friends, the traveler or homeless, and those who work for you. God doesn't like those who act proudly and show off.

(37) Those who are greedy try to make others greedy too. They hide the good things God has given them. But for those who don't believe, We have prepared an embarrassing punishment just for them.

(38) Those who spend money to show off to others don't believe in God or the afterlife. And whoever teams up with Satan—what an evil companion they have!

(39) What would they have lost if they had believed in God and the afterlife and donated from what God had given them? God knows everything about them.

(40) God never mistreats anyone, not even an atom's weight. When you do a good deed, He multiplies it many times and will reward you generously because of His kindness.

(41) Imagine this: What if We got someone from every community to come and testify, and then We brought you as a witness to testify against them?

(42) On that Day, those who don't believe and go against the Messenger's words will wish they could disappear. They won't be able to hide anything from God.

(43) O you who believe! Don't pray if you're drunk; make sure you know what you're saying. Also, if you've become fully impure, make sure to take a bath before praying unless you're passing through the mosque. If you're sick, on a journey, or have been to the toilet or touched someone intimately and can't find water, wipe your face and hands with clean dirt. God is Forgiving and Merciful.

(44) Have you ever seen those people who got a portion of the Scripture but traded them for the wrong path? They want to see you go off course from the Right Way.

(45) Remember, God knows your enemies better than anyone. God is enough to protect you, and He's enough to help you.

(46) Among the Jews are some who play around with words and say things like, "We hear you, but we're not going to do what you say," or they mockingly say, "Listen, O Prophet! Hope you didn't hear us," and use the term "Ra-ina!" to make fun of their religion. If they had just said, "We hear what you're saying, and we'll do it," or "Listen to us and watch us follow through," that would have been better and more honest. But because they refuse to believe, God has condemned them, and only a few of them have faith.

(47) O you who were given the Scripture! Believe in what We have revealed, confirming what you already have in your Scriptures. Do it before We wipe out faces, making them go backward, or punish those who are rebellious, just like We did with the people who broke the Sabbath. God's will always happen!

(48) Surely, God doesn't forgive worshipping things besides Him, but He forgives others for whoever He wills. If someone worships others with God, he has made up a great lie.

(49) Have you ever seen those who act all self-righteous and claim to be pure? Well, God is the One Who decides who's pure. They won't lose a thing, even if it's as small as a thread of a date's seed.

(50) Look at how they make up lies about God—a clear and grave sin.

(51) Have you ever seen those given a portion of the Scriptures but still believe in superstitions and made-up gods? Not only that, they even try to convince those who don't believe in any religion that they're better guided and know better than the true believers!

(52) God curses those who do that, and whoever is cursed by God will not find anyone to rescue them.

(53) Do they own shares of the kingdom of God? If they did, they would not have shared anything with anyone, not even a tiny bit like a speck on a date stone.

(54) Or are they jealous of the good things God has given to some people? Indeed, We gave Abraham's descendants great wisdom, knowledge, and a powerful kingdom.

(55) Some of them believed in him, while others rejected and tried to stop others from believing in him. Hell is enough for them, and it is painful!

(56) Those disbelieving God's revelations will burn in the Fire. Whenever their skin is badly burned, We'll give them new skin so they constantly feel the pain. God is indeed Super Powerful and Super Wise.

(57) Those who believe in God and do good things will be welcomed into beautiful gardens with flowing rivers underneath. They'll live there forever with pure spouses and have plenty of shade.

(58) God commands you to return things that belong to others. When you're called to make decisions among people, always be fair. God's guidelines for you are great; remember, He always hears and sees everything.

(59) O you who believe! Follow God's rules and obey the Messenger and those in charge among you. And if you ever disagree, turn to God and His Messenger for guidance, but only if you genuinely believe in God and the afterlife. That is the best and fairest solution.

(60) Have you ever seen those who claim they believe in what's been revealed to you and in what came before? They're going to false judges for judgment, even though they were told not to. And Satan pulls them in the wrong direction.

(61) And when they're told to follow what God has revealed and what the Messenger teaches, you'll see the hypocrites ignoring it altogether.

(62) What about when trouble strikes them because of their actions? Then they come to you, swearing by God that they only meant well and wanted peace.

(63) These are the ones whose feelings and thoughts are known to God. So, turn away from them, warn them, and speak to them in a way that connects with their emotions.

(64) We didn't send any messengers except to be obeyed. Imagine if those people who did wrong came to you, asking God for forgiveness, and you prayed for them. God would forgive them because He is always ready to forgive and Very Kind.

(65) But no! By your Lord, they will only be true believers if they accept you as a fair judge in their problems, fully trust your decisions, and submit to them.

(66) And If We had commanded them to sacrifice themselves or leave their homes, only a few would have listened.  If they had followed Our advice, things would have been much better, strengthening their faith.

(67) In return, We would have rewarded them greatly.

(68) And We would have guided them on the Right Path.

(69) If you follow what God and the Messenger say, you're among those God has blessed. These people include the prophets, the people of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous—what honorable company!

(70) This is all thanks to God's Kindness, and God knows everything.

(71) O you who believe! Be careful! Go in groups or stick together when you're heading out for battle.

(72) Some of you might choose to stay back when it comes to standing up for what's right, thinking that if a disaster happens, they can say, "Thank God we weren't there with them."

(73) But if you return with lots of good stuff or success from God, some people might act like they were never your friends and say, "We wish we were there with them to enjoy the great benefits too!"

(74) Those who choose the afterlife over worldly things and fight for God's cause are in for a great reward. Whether they win or lose, they'll be greatly rewarded.

(75) What stops you from standing up for justice and helping those suffering? When oppressed men, women, and children cry out, "God, save us from these unfair people and send us help and victory.”

(76) Those who believe fight for God's cause, while others who don't believe fight for the cause of Evil. So, stand up against those who support evil and Satan's schemes. Indeed, Satan’s plans are very weak.

(77) Have you ever thought about those who were told not to fight but to pray and share what they have with those in need? But when they were asked to fight, some of them got scared of people just as much as they feared God or even more. They questioned, "Why did you ask us to fight, Lord? If only You had given us more time." Tell them, "The fun stuff in this world is tiny compared to the awesome stuff in the afterlife for those mindful of God. And no one will be mistreated, not even a tiny bit as much as the thread of a date stone."

(78) No matter where you are, death will eventually catch up to you, even if you're in the safest place. People credit God when good things happen; when bad things occur, they point fingers at you, O Prophet. Tell them, "Everything comes from God." So, what's wrong with these folks? Don't they even try to understand?

(79) When good things happen, it's a blessing from God; when bad things occur, it's often because of your actions. And We have sent you a messenger to guide people, and God is enough as a Witness.

(80) If you follow the messenger, you're obeying God. But if you choose not to, it's your decision. The messenger isn't responsible for your choices.

(81) They tell you, "Sure, we'll do what you say," but later on, some go against their word when they're not around you. God keeps track of all their tricky plans. So, ignore them and trust in God. God is all you need to handle things.

(82) Have you ever thought about the Quran? If it weren't from God, it would have many contradictions.

(83) When they hear scary news or things that worry them, they spread it around. If they had talked to the Messenger or their leaders, the smart ones among them would have checked if it was true. If it weren't for God being Kind and Merciful, most of you would have ended up following Satan, except for a few.

(84) So, Stand up and fight for the cause of God. You're only responsible for your actions. Encourage others to join the fight, and maybe this way, God will weaken those who don't believe. Remember, God is way more Powerful and can punish those who go against Him.

(85) When you stand up for something good, you're a part of that goodness. But if you support something terrible, you're carrying a piece of that badness. Remember, God is always watching over everything.

(86) If someone greets you nicely, be even nicer in return, or at least be polite. God is keeping an eye on all your actions, big and small.

(87) Allah, no god is worthy of worship but Him. He will bring you all together on Judgment Day, and there's no doubt about it. Who can be more truthful than God?

(88) So, why are you split up when it comes to the hypocrites? God has let them turn away because of their evil actions. Do you think you can guide those whom God has let go astray? If God leads someone astray, there's no way you can bring them back.

(89) Some people want you to stop believing like they stopped believing, so everyone is the same. Don't be friends with them unless they leave their homes, for God's sake. If they refuse, catch and fight them wherever you see them. Don't be allies with them or help them.

(90) Unless they are allies with a group you have a treaty with or don't want to fight you or their people. If God wanted them to fight, He would have given them the power to do so. If they decide not to fight you and offer peace, God does not allow you to harm them.

(91) You may come across others who want to protect themselves from you or their people, but they cannot resist the temptation of disbelief or being mean to you. If they don't stay away, make peace with you, or stop attacking you, you can confront them and defend yourself by any means necessary. We have given you permission over them.

(92) It's never okay for a believer to kill another believer on purpose. But if someone accidentally kills another believer, he should free a believing slave and give blood money to the family of the person who was killed unless the family decides to forgive him. If the person who was killed belonged to a group that's enemy to you but was still a believer, then freeing a believing slave is enough. If he was part of a group with whom you had a treaty, then he should pay money to the family and free a believing slave.  If he can't afford to do that, he should fast for two months in a row to repent to God. And God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

(93) If someone intentionally takes the life of another person who believes in God, they'll have to deal with punishment that lasts forever in Hell. God is upset about it, and God curses them for such actions. They're in for a tough time facing a harsh punishment.

(94) O you who believe! When you're going to fight for the sake of God, make sure you know who you're fighting against. Don't say to someone's friendly greeting of peace, "You are not a believer," just because you hope to get something small in return. God has way more impressive things waiting for you. Remember, you were once in the same spot as those people, and God blessed you with Islam. So, be sure! Indeed, God knows everything about what you do.

(95) People who believe in God and stay home are not the same as those who work hard and fight for God, using their money and even risking their lives— unless they can't physically do it. God thinks highly of those who give their all, with their money and lives, compared to those who stay home. God promises both groups a place in paradise, but the ones who work hard get even better rewards.

(96) God grants different rewards, forgiveness, and mercy levels. God is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(97) Imagine, when angels take the souls of those who have wronged themselves, they'll ask, "What led you to this situation?" They'll reply, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will respond, "Wasn't there enough of God's vast earth to find refuge?" Unfortunately, their destination will be Hell, a terrible place.

(98) Except for those suffering, like men, women, and children, who have no way out and are in a challenging situation.

(99) For them, there's hope that God will forgive them. God is all about Forgiving and showing Mercy.

(100) And if anyone emigrates, for God's sake, they will have many safe and good places to live on Earth. If someone leaves their home and passes away while moving to follow God and His Messenger, they've already earned a special reward from God. God is Super Forgiving and Very Kind.

(101) When traveling, it's okay to shorten your prayer or be cautious if you're worried about non-believers causing trouble. Indeed, they're clearly against you.

(102) When you are among them, O Prophet, and you stand to lead them in prayer, let some of your companions stand with you and keep their weapons with them. After they finish praying, they can go back to keeping an eye on the enemy, and another group that still needs to pray can join you in prayer. Everyone should be careful and keep their weapons ready. The disbelievers want to catch you off guard, so don't drop your guard. It's okay to put down your weapons if it's raining or sick, but stay alert. Indeed, God has a punishment ready for the disbelievers.

(103) If you've finished praying, always remember God in your heart, whether standing, sitting, or lying down. And if you feel safe, make sure to pray regularly because it is indeed the duty of the believers at the appointed times.

(104) Don't back down when going after your enemy. If you're suffering, they are too.  But you have hope in God, and they don't. God knows what's best and is Super Wise.

(105) We have sent you the Book, O Prophet, in truth, to help you make fair judgments among people based on what He has taught you. And don't be a supporter of those who are dishonest or untrustworthy.

(106) Seek forgiveness from God. Indeed, He is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(107) Don't waste time arguing with people who lie to themselves. God doesn't like those who do wrong and deceive others.

(108) They try to hide from people but can't hide from God when He's with them. They scheme at night with words that He doesn't like. God watches over everything they do.

(109) Here you are defending them in this worldly life, but who can protect them before God on the Day of Resurrection? Who can speak for them?

(110) If someone does evil or wrongs himself and then asks God for forgiveness, they will find that God is All-Forgiving and All-Merciful.

(111) Whoever sins, he hurts himself. God knows everything and is Very Wise.

(112) If someone does something evil or sinful and tries to blame it on someone who didn't do anything wrong, they'll be responsible for spreading lies and committing a clear sin.

(113) If it weren't for God being Kind and Merciful, some people would have tried to lead you, O Prophet, away from the Right Path. But they would only end up misleading themselves and can't harm you. God has given you the Book and wisdom, teaching you things you didn't know before. God's favor on you is Great!

(114) There isn't much good in their secret conversations, except for those who promote charity, kindness, or making peace among people. If someone does that to please God, they will receive a great reward.

(115) If someone turns away from the Messenger after being shown the Right Path and follows a different way from the believers, they'll be led in the direction they've chosen, which would lead to the burning Fire—what an evil end!

(116) God won't forgive those who worship other gods alongside Him, but He can forgive other mistakes if He chooses to. Indeed, those who worship other gods have gone far from the Right Path.

(117) Instead of worshipping God, they only call upon female gods. But in reality, they are only reaching out to a rebellious Satan.

(118) God has cursed him, and he said, "I will take a share from your followers for myself.

(119) I will trick them and give them false hopes. I'll make them do weird stuff like cutting animals' ears and tamper with God’s creation." And if someone follows Satan instead of God, then he has lost a great loss.

(120) The devil tricks people with fake promises and gives them false hope. All the things Satan says are just lies.

(121) Those headed for Hell cannot escape it.

(122) Those who believe in God and do good things will be welcomed into beautiful gardens with rivers flowing underneath. They get to stay there forever! This is a promise from God, and who's more truthful than God?

(123) You can't just wish for whatever you want, and it's not up to you or the People of the Book. If you do something wrong, you'll have to face the consequences, and there's no one to protect or save you except God.

(124) However, if you do good things, male or female, and believe in God, you'll go to Paradise and won't be mistreated, not even a tiny bit, like the speck on a date stone.

(125) Who's better in their faith than those who give themselves to God, do good stuff, and follow the Way of Abraham, the upright? God chose Abraham as a close friend!

(126) Everything in the sky and the earth belongs to God. God knows everything.

(127) They are asking you, O Prophet, about women. Tell them, "God gives you a ruling regarding women. The rules are in the Book. Ensure you treat orphan girls right when you want to marry them, and also be kind to helpless kids. Stand up for their rights. Just remember, God is Well Aware of all the good things you do.

(128) If a woman is worried that her husband might mistreat or neglect her, it's okay for them to try to work things out. It's good to fix problems in a relationship. But sometimes, people can be selfish. If you're righteous and caring, know that God is Well Aware of your actions.

(129) Even if you want to treat women equally, you can’t. Don't be unfair or pick one over the other. If you do what's right and be mindful of God, then God is All-Forgiving and Most Merciful.

(130) If a married couple decides to break up and separate, God will provide them with His bounties. God is Generous and Wise.

(131) Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. Indeed, We've told the people who got the Scripture before you and you, too, to always remember and be mindful of God. But if you don't listen, know that everything in the sky and the earth still belongs to God. He doesn't need anything from anyone, and He deserves all praise.

(132) Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God, and God is all you need as a Protector.

(133) If God wants to, He can take you out, O people, and put someone else in your place. God has the power to do that.

(134) If you want rewards in this world, remember that God has rewards for this world and the next. God hears and sees everything.

(135) O you who believe! Be fair witnesses for God, even if it means testifying against yourself, your parents, or your relatives. It doesn't matter if someone is rich or poor; God protects everyone. Don't let your desires lead you astray. And remember, if you lie in your testimony or hide the truth, God knows all about it.

(136) O you who believe! Believe in God, His messenger, the Book He sent to His messenger, and the previous Scriptures. But if you reject God, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, you're heading down the wrong path.

(137) Indeed, those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe, then disbelieve, becoming increasingly doubtful—God won't forgive them or show them the Right Path.

(138) Let the hypocrites know that they're in for some painful torture.

(139) Those who team up with disbelievers rather than those who believe. Are they trying to gain power and fame through them? But remember, all power and fame truly come from God.

(140) He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear people making fun of God's teachings, don't hang out with them while they're doing that. Do not sit down with them until they talk about something else. If you don't, you might start acting like them. In the end, God will gather those who pretend to be faithful and those who don't believe in Him and put them all in Hell.

(141) Those who act like they're on your side, but they're just watching to see if you succeed. If you win, they'll say, "We were always with you!" But if the non-believers win, they'll claim they were on their side and protecting them from you. Don't worry. On the Day of Resurrection, God will be the judge, and He won't let the non-believers overcome the believers in any way.

(142) The fake believers try to fool God, but God lets them fool themselves. They do it half-heartedly whenever they pray, trying to show off to everyone. They remember God only a little bit.

(143) Feeling caught between believing and not believing, like they don't fit in with either group. If God lets someone go the wrong way, you will not find a way for them.

(144) O you who believe! Do not team up with the disbelievers rather than the believers. Do you want to provide clear evidence to God that you've done something wrong?

(145) The hypocrites will be in the lowest spot in the Fire, and no one can help them.

(146) But there's hope for those who regret their mistakes, change their ways, hold on to God, and sincerely worship God; then they are with the believers. And God will give them a great reward.

(147) Why would God want to punish you if you're thankful and stay true to your beliefs? God is always Appreciative and knows everything.

(148) God doesn't want people talking bad about others, except if someone has been mistreated. God hears everything and knows everything.

(149) Whether you show or hide a good deed or forgive wrongdoing—remember God is always Forgiving and Powerful.

(150) Surely, those who don't believe in God and His messengers want to separate God from His messengers by saying, "We believe in some but not in others," trying to pick and choose what they want to believe and trying to find a middle ground.

(151) These people are indeed the disbelievers. We have prepared an embarrassing punishment for the disbelievers.

(152) But for those who truly believe in God and His messengers without picking and choosing, they'll get their rewards. God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(153) The People of the Book ask you, O Prophet, to bring them a written message from God sent down from the sky. They once asked Moses for something even greater than that, saying, "Show us God!" But they were punished with a lightning bolt for their wrongdoing. Later, despite seeing clear signs, they started worshiping a calf. However, God forgave them after they repented, and Moses was given strong evidence.

(154) We raised a big mountain over them as a warning because they didn't keep their promise. We told them, "Be humble when you enter through the gate." We also told them, "Don't break the rules on the Sabbath day," and they promised to follow them.

(155) But they ended up breaking their promise, ignoring God's messages, unjustly killing the prophets, and saying, "Our hearts are closed." So, because of their disbelief, God sealed their hearts, and only a few of them still believe.

(156) And because of their disbelief and spreading rumors about Mary.

(157) They even claimed they had killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, who was a messenger of God. But in reality, they didn't kill him or crucify him; it just looked that way to them. Those who argue about this are not sure. They don't have any actual knowledge; they're just guessing. The truth is, they did not kill him.

(158) Instead, God raised Jesus to Himself. God is All-Powerful and All-Wise.

(159) Everyone from the People of the Book will eventually come to believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection, he will stand as a witness against them.

(160) We forbade the Jews certain foods that were once allowed to them because of their wrongdoings and for stopping a lot of people from following the Way of God.

(161) They got in trouble for charging interest, even though they were told not to, and for cheating people out of their money. As a result, a painful punishment awaits those who don't have faith.

(162) But for those who truly know and the believers, they trust in what was revealed to you and to the prophets who came before you. They're the ones who pray regularly, help others in need, believe in God, and look forward to the Day of Judgment. They'll receive an incredible reward.

(163) We've sent revelations to you, just like We did to Noah and the prophets who followed him. We also revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, their descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And We gave David the Psalms.

(164) Some messengers We've discussed before, and others We haven't mentioned. God even spoke directly to Moses.

(165) These messengers have brought good news and warned people, so there won't be any excuses when it comes to God after the messengers have come. God is All-Powerful and Incredibly Wise.

(166) God is a Witness to what He's revealed to you. He did it with full knowledge. The angels are also witnesses, and God's Testimony is more than enough.

(167) Those who don't believe in God and try to stop others from following His Way have lost their path.

(168) Those who don't believe in God and do unfair things won't forgive them, and He won't show them the Right Way either.

(169) Except for the way to Hell, where they'll stay forever. And that's too easy for God.

(170) O people! The Messenger has brought you the truth from your Lord, so believe it is better for you. If you don't believe, remember that everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. He knows everything, and He is Super Wise.

(171) O People of the Book! Don't go overboard with your religion; only say true things about God. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, wasn't more than a Messenger of God, and His Word was given to Mary and a Spirit from Him. So, believe in God and His messengers. Don't say, “Three." Stop! It is better for you. There's only One God. Glory be to Him — that He would have a son. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. And God is enough as a Protector.

(172) The Messiah would never think too highly of himself to be a servant of God, and even the angels closest to God wouldn't be too proud. Those too proud and arrogant to worship God will all be brought together before Him.

(173) If you believe in God and do good things, He will reward you and give you even more. But if you act all proud and arrogant, He'll punish you harshly, and you won't have anyone to save you except God.

(174) O People! Your Lord is sending you a clear sign and giving you a bright guiding light.

(175) Those who believe in God and hold onto Him will receive His Mercy and Kindness, and He'll lead them down the Right Path.

(176) They're asking you, O Prophet, for a ruling. Tell them, "God has a rule for those who don't have kids or parents. If someone passes away with no kids and has a sister, she gets half of his stuff. But If she dies without kids, he gets all her things. And if there are two sisters, they share two-thirds of his stuff. If there are brothers and sisters, a brother gets twice as much as a sister." God is making it clear so you don't get confused. God knows everything perfectly.
