In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) Sawd and by the Quran that is full of reminders.

(2) Those who don't believe do indeed act proud and stubborn.

(3) Think about all the people We destroyed before them. They cried for help when it was already too late to escape.

(4) They're surprised that someone from their community is trying to warn them. The non-believers say, “He is a fake and a liar.

(5) Did he turn all the gods into one? That's indeed weird!"

(6) The leaders among them say, "Don't listen to him; stick to your gods. He's just trying to gain power.

(7) We've never heard anything like this before. It's all made up."

(8) They wonder, "Why is this message only sent to him? Are we not good enough?" They doubt the message and don't realize they might face punishment if they don't listen.

(9) Do they control God's mercy and blessings? He's the Almighty, the One Who gives you good things.

(10) Can they control the heavens, the earth, and everything in between? Let them try to reach the sky.

(11) They're like a weak army that will lose.

(12) In the past, the people of Noah, the tribe of A'ad, and the Pharaoh of the mighty buildings all denied the truth, too.

(13) Thamud, the people of Lot, and those who lived in the Forest were all against the good believers.

(14) Each turned away from God's messenger, so punishment was fair.

(15) These non-believers are waiting for a big, unstoppable explosion.

(16) They mockingly say, "Our Lord! Make our punishment come sooner, before Judgment Day!"

(17) O Prophet, be patient and don't let their words get you down. Remember David, the man of strength. He always turned to Us.

(18) We made the mountains praise Us with him, both in the morning and at sunset.

(19) Even the birds gathered around him, all singing His praises.

(20) We made him a powerful leader and gave him smart thinking and good decision-making.

(21) Have you heard about the two people who climbed the wall of David's sacred place?

(22) When they went to David, he was surprised. They said, "Don't worry, we're just two people with a problem. One of us did something wrong. Help us make it right, but be fair and guide us to the right way."

(23) One guy said, "This is my brother. He's got ninety-nine sheep, and I've got only one. He's trying to talk me into giving it to him, and he's good at talking."

(24) David responded, "He's wrong for trying to take your sheep. Usually, people who are partners with each other end up doing wrong things, except those who believe in doing good stuff, but they're rare." David realized that We were testing him, so he asked for forgiveness, fell prostrating, and turned to Us.

(25) So, We forgave him for his mistake and told him he'd indeed have a special place close to Us and an excellent place to return to.

(26) God said, “O David! We've made you a ruler on earth, so when you make decisions for the people, be fair. Don't let your desires lead you away from God's Way. People who get lost from God's Way will face a tough punishment because they have forgotten Judgment Day."

(27) And We have not created the heavens, the earth, and in between for no reason. That is the thinking of the people who don't believe. So, woe to the disbelievers, for they are in trouble. They'll face a fiery punishment.

(28) So, should We treat good people like those who cause problems? Should We treat the righteous the same as the rebellious?

(29) This is a special blessed Book that We sent to you, O Prophet, so that people can think about its verses and those with good sense can pay attention.

(30) And We have blessed David with Solomon, what a great servant he was! He always turned to God.

(31) Think about when well-trained, speedy horses were proudly displayed before him in the evening.

(32) He said, "I chose the love of these fine things over remembering God —until they were gone.

(33) Bring them back to me!” Then he started slaughtering them by their legs and necks.

(34) And We indeed tested Solomon and put a dead body on his throne, then he repented to God.

(35) He prayed, "My Lord, forgive me and give me the power that no one will ever have after me. You're indeed the One Who gives us blessings."

(36) So, we gave him control over the wind, letting him make it flow gently wherever he wanted.

(37) And gave him control over the jinn who built and dived underwater for him.

(38) Some were even locked up with chains.

(39) God said, "This is Our special gift. You can give or keep it as you like, and you won't be judged for it."

(40) He'll indeed have a close spot with Us and a great place to return to.

(41) And remember Our servant, Job. When he prayed to his Lord, he said, "I'm facing difficulties and pain because of Satan."

(42) God told him, "Just stomp  your foot, and look, here's some cool water spring for washing and drinking."

(43) And We gave him back his family, twice as many! It was a sign of Our mercy and a lesson for those who think.

(44) Grab a bunch of grass and lightly tap your wife with it, but don't break your promise." Indeed, Job was patient and a fantastic servant who always turned to God.

(45) Remember Our outstanding servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who had great strength and wisdom.

(46) We chose them to be special messengers for spreading the word about the Hereafter.

(47) And in Our sight, they are among the best.

(48) And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Ezekiel; they're all the best, too.

(49) This is a reminder that the good-hearted will have a sweet place to return to.

(50) Imagine the fabulous Gardens of Eden; open doors to welcome them!

(51) They relax on couches, asking for many delicious fruits and drinks.

(52) And they will have friendly people their age along with them.

(53) You were promised to get this on Judgment Day.

(54) This is indeed the good things We'll provide forever.

(55) But for those who messed up, there's a terrible place waiting—

(56) Hell! They burn in it. It's a horrible place to stay.

(57) They'll have to taste it—boiling water and gross stuff.

(58) They'll feel pain in many different ways.

(59) The leaders who misguided others will say, "Look at these people trying to join us! They're not welcome here; they'll burn in the Fire, too."

(60) But the newcomers will fire back, "No way! It's you who aren't welcome! You got us into this mess. What a lousy place to end up!"

(61) They'll also say, "Our Lord, make those who led us here suffer twice as much in the Fire."

(62) Those who used to be the leaders will wonder, "Why don't we see the people we thought were wrong?

(63) Did we mess up by making fun of them in the world? Or can we not see them in the Fire?"

(64) This is for real! People in the Fire are arguing.

(65) Say, O Prophet, "I'm just here to warn you. There's only one God, the One, the All-Powerful.

(66) He's the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and everything in between—the All-Mighty, the Most Forgiving."

(67) Say, "This is some fantastic news!

(68) But you're turning away from it.

(69) I had no clue about the big argument up there when they argued about Adam.

(70) All I know is I'm here to give you a clear warning."

(71) Think back, O Prophet, to when your Lord told the angels, "I'm creating a human from clay.

(72) After I shape and give him life, bow down to him."

(73) So, all the angels bowed down except for Iblis. He got all proud and unfaithful.

(74) God said, "O Iblis, why didn't you bow down to what I created with My Own Hands? Are you too proud or what?"

(75) He replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and him from clay."

(76) God said, "Get out of Paradise, you're an outcast!

(78) And I've put a curse on you until the Day of Judgment."

(79) He said, "My Lord, delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”

(80) God said, "You'll have more time.

(81) Until a set date.”

(82) Satan said, "I'll try to trick them all, I promise by Your Glory.

(83) Except for your faithful followers."

(84) God declared, "Truth be told—and I only speak the truth—:

(85) I'll fill Hell with you and your followers."

(86) Say, O Prophet, "I don't want money for my message, I'm not faking it.

(87) It's just a reminder for people.

(88) You'll understand its meaning eventually."
