In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
(1) All praise be to God, the One Who created the sky, the earth, and even the angels, who sometimes have two, three, or four wings. God can make as many things as He wants. Indeed, God can do anything!
(2) Whatever mercy God showers on people, no one can stop it. And whatever He holds back, only He can bring it back. He's the All-Powerful, the All-Wise.
(3) O everyone! Think about all the good blessings God does for you. Is there any other creator who gives you things from the sky and the earth like God? No! There's no one like Him. So, how can you believe in something else?
(4) If people don't accept you, O Prophet, remember that even those who came before you faced rejection. In the end, everything returns to God.
(5) O everyone! Indeed, God's promises are for real, so don't get fooled by the temporary pleasures of this world, and don't let the trickster lead you away from God.
(6) Satan is your enemy, no doubt. So, treat him like one. He's just trying to recruit folks for a fiery destination.
(7) Those who don't believe will face a harsh punishment, but those who believe and do good things will be forgiven and be greatly rewarded.
(8) Can someone who enjoys doing evil things and thinks it's okay be compared to someone on the Right Path? God guides whom He wills and sometimes lets people go in the wrong direction as He wills, so don't stress about them. God knows what they're up to.
(9) God makes the wind blow, then stirs up clouds. Then, We move those clouds to dry, lifeless areas, making the land come back to life after it seemed dead. This is what resurrection is like.
(10) If you want to be honored, remember that God is the One with all the honor and power. Good words and doing good stuff go up to Him. He rewards those who do good, and the ones who plan evil will be punished. Their plans will fail.
(11) And it is God Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then made you in pairs. No woman gets pregnant or has a baby without God knowing about it. Your life's length cannot be changed; it is written in a book. And for God, this is easy.
(12) There are two seas, and they're not alike. One is fresh, sweet, and good to drink, while the other is salty and bitter. From both, you get delicious food and find jewels to wear. You can watch ships sailing through them, searching for God's gifts so you can be thankful.
(13) God merges the night into day and day into night. He controls the sun and the moon, making them move at their set times. That's God, your Lord, and He has complete control over everything. The things you pray to instead of Him have no power, not even a speck of date.
(14) Those things you pray to can't even hear your prayers. And even if they could, they wouldn't answer you. On Judgment Day, they'll say they don't want your worship. Nobody knows stuff like God, Who knows everything.
(15) O people! You are the poor and in need of God; God is the Rich, the Praiseworthy.
(16) If He wants, He can make you disappear and replace you with something new.
(17) And that is not difficult for God.
(18) No one can take the blame for someone else's mistakes. Even if someone with mistakes asks for help, no one can help, not even a close family member. O Prophet, you can only advise those who fear their Lord even if they can't see Him and those who pray. When you act righteously, you're doing yourself a favor. And in the end, you will all go back to God.
(19) Those who can see the truth and those who cannot see it are not the same.
(20) Darkness and light are not the same.
(21) And even shade and intense heat are different.
(22) The living and the dead aren't the same either. Indeed, God decides who can hear, but you can't make the folks in graves hear.
(23) You're just a messenger with a warning.
(24) We sent you the truth to bring good news and to warn. Every community has had a warner.
(25) If they don't believe you, that's happened before. Messengers before you showed them clear signs, Scriptures, and enlightening Books.
(26) Then, I punished those who kept on disbelieving. So, what do you think of My response?
(27) Have you noticed that God sends rain from the sky, and We grow different colorful fruits with it? And look at the various colors on the mountains, like white, red, and dark black stripes!
(28) Just like people, animals, and cows come in various colors. Indeed, those gifted with knowledge among His servants are the ones who truly fear Him. Indeed, God is All-Powerful and All-Forgiving.
(29) Those who read God's Book, pray, and give to those in need, whether in secret or in front of everyone, are hoping for an excellent deal.
(30) He will pay them back and give them even more rewards. God is All-Forgiving and appreciates what they do.
(31) O Prophet! The Book We Revealed to you is the truth and confirms what was said before. God knows everything and sees everything His servants do.
(32) Then We passed the Book to Our chosen servants. Some make mistakes, some do okay, and some excel in doing good things by God's plan. That's a huge blessing.
(33) They'll enter the Garden of Eden wearing bracelets made of gold and pearls and super silky clothes.
(34) They will then say, "Praise be to God! He has taken away all our pain. Our Lord is indeed All-Forgiving and Grateful.
(35) He's the One Who's put us in the Home of Everlasting Stay, where we're never tired or worn out.”
(36) But for those who don't believe, they'll have to deal with the fiery Hell, where they won't ever escape or find relief. This is how We deal with stubborn non-believers.
(37) And they'll be shouting in there, "Our Lord! Let us out to do better things than we used to do." They'll be told, "Didn't We give you plenty of time to understand, and the warner has come to you? Now, taste the punishment. The guilty don't get any help."
(38) God knows everything, even the stuff hidden in the sky and the earth. He can see what's hidden in people's hearts, too.
(39) He's the One Who made you generations after generations on earth. So, if someone doesn't believe in Him, it will backfire on them. The folks who don't believe make themselves look bad in front of God and lose even more. Those who don't believe will be despised in God's sight and lose.
(40) Ask them, "Have you ever really thought about those other gods you worship alongside God? What have they made on earth? Can you show me anything they've created? Have they helped make the sky? Did We give them a book to prove they're right? Those who do wrong make empty promises to each other."
(41) God holds up the heavens and the earth, ensuring they don't collapse. If they ever did, No one could put them back together except Him. He's Patient and All-Forgiving.
(42) Some people promised God they'd be the best of nations if warned. But when a warner tried to warn them, they pushed them away.
(43) These folks act proud and plan to do evil things on Earth. But their wicked plans will end up hurting them instead. Do they expect anything different from what happened to those who came before? God's Way doesn't change and won't go in a different direction.
(44) Haven't they seen what happened to those who came before them? Those guys were even stronger, but nothing in the heavens or the earth could stop God. He knows everything and can do anything.
(45) If God punished people right away for their mistakes, there wouldn't be anyone left. But God gives them time, and when the time's up, He sees everything they did.
