In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) Tta, Sin. These are verses from the Quran, the book that explains things clearly.

(2) It gives guidance and good news to the believers.

(3) Those who pray, share from what they have with those in need and are sure of the Hereafter.

(4) But those who don't believe in the Hereafter, We made their good deeds seem pleasant to them, but they're lost and confused.

(5) These people will face the worst punishment and will be the biggest losers in the next life.

(6) You are indeed receiving this Quran from the Wise, the All-Knowing.

(7) Remember when Moses told his family, "I have spotted a fire! I'll check it out and bring back either directions or a torch to keep us warm."

(8) Then when he reached the fire, a voice called him, "Blessed are those near the fire, and blessed are those around it. And Glory be to God, the Lord of the Worlds.

(9) O Moses! It is indeed I. Allah, the All-Almighty, the All-Wise.

(10) Throw your staff on the ground!"  But then, when Moses saw it moving like a snake, he got scared and ran away. But God comforted him, saying, "O Moses, don't be afraid! Messengers do not fear in My presence.

(11) Except for those who do bad things and then return to goodness. God is Forgiving and Merciful.

(12) Now put your hand through the neck of your shirt, and it'll come out all bright white and spotless — among nine signs meant for Pharaoh and his folks, who have been quite disobedient.”

(13) Then when they saw Our apparent miracles, they said, “This is magic.”

(14) Even though they felt that the signs were genuine in their hearts, they wrongly and proudly denied them. Look at what happened to those who caused trouble!

(15) And indeed, We gave knowledge to David and Solomon. They said, "All praise be to God, Who has blessed us more than many of His devoted servants."

(16) Solomon became the ruler after David. He said, "O everyone! We have been taught to understand what birds are saying, and we have been given many things. This is truly a clear blessing from God."

(17) Solomon's mighty army of Jinn, regular people, and even birds were summoned to him. They were all organized and ready to serve him.

(18) One day, they reached the Valley of the Ants. A tiny ant warned the other ants, "Go to your homes quickly, or Solomon and his army might accidentally step on you."

(19) Solomon heard the ant and couldn't help but smile. He said, "God, thank you for all the good things you've given me and my family. Help me do what's right and admit me into Your mercy with Your good servants."

(20) Solomon checked out the birds and wondered, "Why do I not see the hoopoe? Or is he absent?

(21) I will punish the hoopoe severely or slaughter him unless he has a good reason for being late.”

(22) Finally, the hoopoe returned and said, "I have some important news from Sheba.

(23) Indeed, I came across a woman leading them, and she has been given everything she could wish for, with a stunning throne.

(24) The strange thing is that she and her people worship the sun instead of God. Satan has tricked them into doing bad things, and they've lost their way.

(25) To bow down to God, Who reveals secrets in the heavens and the earth and knows what you keep hidden and what you show.

(26) Allah—There is no god but He, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne.

(27) He said, "Let's see if you're telling the truth or lying.

(28) Take this letter of mine and give it to them. Then, step back and see how they respond.

(29) She said, "O chiefs! Indeed, a noble letter was delivered to me.

(30) It is from Solomon. It says, 'In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.'

(31) Don't be too proud with me, just be humble and fully submit yourself to God.’"

(32) She said, "O chiefs! Help me with this decision because I won't decide without your input."

(33) They replied, "We're strong and have a big army, but the choice is yours. Tell us what you want us to do."

(34) She said, "Indeed, when kings come to a city, they can make it a mess and bring down its important people. That's just how it goes.

(35) And I'm planning to send them a gift. After that, I'll see what the messengers bring back."

(36) When the envoy came to Solomon, he asked, "Are you giving me money? Well, what I have from God is better than what you've got. You're the one excited about your gift.

(37) Go back to them because we will gather powerful forces they won't withstand. We'll kick them out in shame, making sure they feel completely defeated.”

(38) Solomon said, "O everyone! Who can bring me her throne before they come to me in full submission?"

(39) A strong Jinn said, "I can get it for you before you even stand up. I'm really strong and trustworthy for this task."

(40) But the one who knew the Scripture said, "I can bring it to you before you even blink. So, when Solomon saw it before him, he said, "This is a gift from my Lord to test if I'm grateful or not. If I'm thankful, it's good for me, and if I'm not, my Lord doesn't need anything, and He's Very Generous."

(41) He said, "Disguise her throne and see if she can recognize it."

(42) As soon as she arrived, they questioned her, "Is your throne like this?" She responded, "Yes, it looks like it is the same." "And we were given knowledge before her, and we were submissive.”

(43) She couldn't follow God because she used to worship something else. She was indeed part of a group that didn't believe in God.

(44) Then, she was told to go into the palace, but when she got inside, she thought it was a pool of water and uncovered her legs. He said, "It's a palace paved with glass." She said, "My Lord! I made a mistake and submitted with Solomon to God, the Lord of the Worlds."

(45) And We have certainly sent their brother Salih to the people of Thamud. He said, "Worship God," but they ended up divided into two groups.

(46) He said, "O my people! Why do you rush into doing bad things before doing good ones?  If only you asked God for forgiveness, you could receive mercy!"

(47) They replied, "You and your group bring bad luck to us." He said, "Luck is up to God; you're being put to the test."

(48) In the city, nine troublemakers spread corruption in the land and didn't try to improve things.

(49) They said, "Promise to God that we'll kill him and his family tonight. Then we'll tell his guardian, 'We didn't see anything, and we're telling the truth.'"

(50) They made a plan, and We made a plan while they weren't aware of that.

(51) So, see what happened because of their plan? We wiped them out, along with their people.

(52) Their homes are destroyed because of their wrongdoings. It's a lesson for those who understand.

(53) And We saved the people who believed and were fearful of God.

(54) And think about Lot when he scolded the men in his town, saying, "Are you doing that embarrassing thing where everyone can see?

(55) Do you desire men over women? Seriously, you're just being ignorant.”

(56) But the folks in that town just said, "Kick out Lot's family from here! They're trying to stay pure!"

(57) So, We saved Lot and his family, but not his wife. We decided she would be one of the doomed.

(58)  And We sent a heavy rain of burning stones pouring down upon them. How awful it was for those who were warned!

(59) Say, "All praise be to God, and may peace be upon the servants He has chosen." Now, ask those who don't believe: "What's better--God or those other gods they believe in?"

(60) Or ask them, "Who created the sky and the earth and makes the rain fall from the sky to grow beautiful gardens for you? You can't cause those trees to grow. Is there another god besides God?" No way! But some people treat other things as equal to God!

(61) Or ask them, "Who made the land to live on, made rivers flow, put strong mountains, and separated fresh and salty waters with a barrier? Was it another god instead of God?" No! But many people don't know.

(62) Or ask them, "Who is there for you when you're going through tough times, listening to your cries, easing your pain, and making you generations after another on earth? Is there anyone else other than God? But, hardly do you think about it?"

(63) Or ask them, "Who guides you through the dark on land and sea and sends winds carrying His mercy? Is there any god other than God? God is far Superior to what they wrongly link to Him!"

(64) Or ask them, "Who creates everything, brings it back to life, and provides for you from the heavens and the earth? Is there another god besides God? Show me your proof if you're right."

(65) Say, "No one knows what's hidden in the heavens and the earth except God. And they don't know when they'll be brought back to life."

(66) They'll eventually learn about the Hereafter. Right now, they're unsure about it and can't see it.

(67) Those who don't believe say, "Will we and our ancestors come back to life after we've turned into dust?

(68) People before us and our ancestors were told about this long ago. These are just old stories from the past.”

(69) Say, "Travel worldwide and see what happened to the wrongdoers.

(70) And don't feel sad or upset about what others are planning against you.”

(71) They ask, "When will this threat come if you're telling the truth?"

(72) Say, "Maybe some of the punishment you're worried about is already coming."

(73) And your Lord is so Gracious to people, but many of them don't appreciate it.

(74) And your Lord knows what people keep secret and what they show openly.

(75) Everything that happens in the sky or the earth is written down in a perfect Record by God.

(76) Indeed, this Quran explains many things that the Children of Israel argue about.

(77) And it is indeed a guide and a source of mercy for those who believe.

(78) Your Lord will judge between them with His justice, and He is All-Powerful and All-Knowing.

(79) So, trust in God. You are indeed following the Right Path of clear truth.

(80) You can't make people who have passed away or people who can't hear listen to your message if they've turned away from you.

(81) And you can't change the minds of those who can't see the truth. You can only share your message with those who believe in Our revelations and fully submit to God.

(82) And when punishment comes to pass against them, We'll bring out a creature from the earth to speak to them, telling them that the people didn't have sure faith in Our messages.

(83) On the Day when people from every nation who didn't believe in Our messages are gathered, they'll be taken to face judgment.

(84) When they arrive, God will ask, "Did you not believe in My revelations and not understand them? Or what were you doing?"

(85) Their punishment is fair from God for the wrong things they did, and they won't have anything to say about it.

(86) Can't they see that We made night for rest and day for light? These are signs for people who have faith.

(87) On the Day when the trumpet is blown, everything in the heavens and the earth will be frightened, except those whom God chooses. Everyone will come to Him with humility.

(88) Imagine you will be looking at mountains, and they will seem solid and unmoving, but they are actually moving like clouds. That is the design of God, Who makes everything perfect. He knows everything you do.

(89) Whoever does something good, he'll get even better things in return, and they won't have to worry about that scary Day.

(90) But whoever does something evil— their faces will be thrown into the Fire. Can they expect a reward for doing wrong?

(91) "I was commanded to worship the Lord of this city, Mecca, which He made sacred and owns everything. I was commanded to be one of those who submit to God and be a Muslim.

(92) I was also told to read the Quran." Whoever is guided, then it's good for them. But if they don’t, say, “I'm just here to warn you.”

(93) Say, "All praise be to God! He'll show you His amazing signs, and you'll recognize them. God always knows what you're up to."
