In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) For sure, the believers have succeeded.

(2) Those who pray sincerely and with humility.

(3) Those who steer clear of nonsense and distractions.

(4) They're all about helping others and being generous.

(5) Those who safeguard their innocence and modesty.

(6) Except in lawful relationships, like with their spouses or bondwomen, they are not at fault.

(7) But those who go beyond that are breaking the rules.

(8) 'And the believers are:' Those who keep their promises and honor their commitments.

(9) And those who are devoted to their prayers.

(10) These are the ones who will be the inheritors,

(11) who will inherit Paradise, where they'll live forever.

(12) We created the human being from an extract of clay.

(13) Then We made him a tiny drop in a safe place.

(14) We changed the drop into a clingy clot. Then, We turned the clot into a lump. Then We turned the lump into bones, covering those bones with soft flesh. And finally, We turned him into a whole new being. So, Blessed is God, the Best Creator!

(15) Then, after that, you will all die.

(16) Then, on Resurrection Day, you will all be raised from the dead.

(17) And indeed, We have created seven heavenly pathways above you, and We never forget about Our creations.

(18) We make rain fall from the sky in the right amount, soaking the earth, and We can make it stop whenever We want.

(19) And with it, We create beautiful gardens with palm trees and grapevines that bear lots of good fruits for you to enjoy.

(20) There is also a unique olive tree that grows on Mount Sinai, giving you oil and seasonings for your food.

(21) You can learn a lot from the animals, like cattle. We provide you with their milk to drink and many other benefits, including meat.

(22) You also use animals for transportation, like riding on horses and ships to get around.

(23) And indeed long ago, We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people! Worship God. You have no other god but Him. Aren't you afraid of Him?"

(24) The leaders of his community, who didn't believe, said, “He's just a regular person like you, wanting power over you. If God wanted, He could've sent angels. We never heard anything like this from our forefathers before.

(25) He's just a madman. Let's give him some time; maybe he'll come to his senses, or something worse will happen to him."

(26) Noah prayed, "My Lord! Please help me. They rejected me."

(27) So, We inspired him, "Build an Ark under Our watchful Eyes and guidance, and when the oven bursts with water, bring a pair of every animal and your family on board, except for those whom God has already decided will not survive. Don't ask Me to save them because they'll surely be drowned."

(28) When you and your companions have boarded the Ark, say, "All praise be to God for saving us from the wrongdoers."

(29) Also, pray, "My Lord, grant us a safe landing, for You are the Best at guiding us to safety."

(30) There are important lessons in this story, and We always put people to the test.

(31) After those people, We brought a new generation into existence.

(32) Among them, We sent a messenger from their community, saying, "Worship God, for there is no other god but Him. Aren't you afraid of Him?"

(33) But the leaders of his people, who didn't believe in the afterlife and had a comfortable life, objected, saying, "He's just a regular person like you. He eats what you eat and drinks what you drink.

(34) If you follow a regular person like you, you are a loser.

(35) Does he promise that if you die and turn into dust and bones, you'll be brought back to life from your graves?

(36) Impossible. That sounds pretty far-fetched, doesn't it?”

(37) They insisted, "There's nothing beyond this life. We live, we die, and there's no resurrection.

(38) He's just a regular person making up a false story about God, and we won't believe in him."

(39) He prayed, "My Lord, please help me. They have rejected me."

(40) God replied, "Don't worry, they will regret their actions soon."

(41) Then a powerful punishment struck them, turning them to ashes. Those who did wrong were gone.

(42) After that, We brought new generations into existence.

(43) No people can speed up their downfall, nor can they slow them down.

(44) We sent messengers to guide people, one after the other. But when a messenger came to a community, they often refused to believe. Consequently, those communities were destroyed and became stories of the past. So, away with the people who refuse to believe!

(45) Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron, along with miraculous signs and clear authority from Us.

(46) They were sent to Pharaoh and his advisors, but they were arrogant and thought they were superior.

(47) They questioned, "Should we believe in two men like us while their people are our servants?"

(48) So, they accused Moses and Aaron of lying, and in the end, they were destroyed.

(49) And We gave Moses the Scripture; perhaps his people would be guided.

(50) We also sent a special sign through Mary's son and his mother, providing them protection and a flowing spring on a high hill.

(51) O messengers! Enjoy good food and do kind deeds. Indeed, I am Aware of your actions.

(52) Remember that your religion is one religion, and I'm your Lord, so respect and revere Me.

(53) But some folks divided their religion into factions, each thinking they're right.

(54) So, let them stay in their confusion for a while.

(55) Do they think that just because We give them money and kids,

(56) that We quickly reward them with all sorts of good things? No! They're clueless.

(57) Indeed, those who show humility out of respect for their Lord,

(58) And trust in their Lord's teachings.

(59) They don't worship anyone else alongside their Lord.

(60) When they do whatever good they do, they do it with a fearful heart, knowing they'll return to their Lord.

(61) These people compete for goodness, and they'll succeed in the end.

(62) We only give people what they can handle, and We keep an accurate record so they will be treated fairly.

(63) But some hearts are confused about this Quran and doing other bad things besides not believing.

(64) But as soon as We punish their rich and powerful ones, they cry for help.

(65) They will be told, “Don't expect help today. You won't get any help from Us.

(66) Indeed, My revelations have already been recited to you, but you turned away and ignored them.

(67) You acted all high and mighty, making fun of My revelations at night and pretending like they don't matter.

(68) Have they ever really thought about what this Message means? Or is it just because they got something new that their ancestors didn't?

(69) Or did they not recognize their messenger, so they rejected what he said?

(70) Or are they saying he's crazy? He has brought them the truth, but most of them don't want to hear it.

(71) If everyone got what they wished for, the heavens and the earth would be a mess. Indeed, We've brought them guidance, but many of them are turning away from it.

(72) Or, are you asking them for money, O Prophet? Remember, God is the Best Provider, and His rewards are the greatest.

(73) And you are, indeed, trying to guide them on the Right Path.

(74) But those who don't believe in the afterlife are losing their way.

(75) Even if We showed them mercy and removed their troubles, they'd still be lost in their wrongdoing.

(76) We've tested them with all sorts of challenges, but they still won't turn to their Lord and learn from their mistakes.

(77) Until great hardship and suffering come, they will remain in despair.

(78) And it is He Who blessed you with the ability to hear, see, and feel, but sadly, very little that you appreciate these gifts.

(79) And it is He Who created you and spread humanity across the Earth, and in the end, you will all return to Him.

(80) And it is He Who gives life, causes death, and controls the cycle of day and night. Have you ever thought about it?

(81) But they say just like people in the past said.

(82) They said, "Will we really be resurrected after we die, turn to dust and bones?

(83) This promise was given to us and our family way back then. This is just old stories!”

(84) Ask them, "Who does the Earth and everything on it belong to, if you know?"

(85) They will answer, "To God." So, say, "Then why not remember Him?"

(86) Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the Seven Heavens and the Glorious Throne?"

(87) They'll reply, "God." Then say, "Shouldn't you have reverence for Him?"

(88) Ask them, "Who holds the Ultimate Power over all things, protecting without needing protection, if you know?"

(89) They'll say, "God." So, say, "Are you under some kind of spell?"

(90) We've brought them the truth, but they continue to believe in lies.

(91) God has never had a child, and He has no other gods with Him. If that were the case, each god would try to take control of everything and claim to be the greatest. But no, God is way greater than what they say!

(92) He knows everything, the hidden and the visible, and He is far above any ideas people have about Him.

(93) Say, "My Lord, should You show me what they are threatened with,

(94) Please, my Lord, don't put me with the wrongdoers."

(95) We are indeed Capable of showing you what We have threatened them with.

(96) Respond to bad things with what is best. We're Aware of what others say about Us.

(97) Say, "My Lord, protect me from the devil's tricks.

(98) And my Lord, keep me safe if those troublemakers show up."

(99) And when someone is close to dying, they cry, "My Lord, send me back.

(100) I promise to do better with the time I have left." But these are just words he is saying. After that, there's a barrier, and no going back until the Day of Resurrection.

(101) Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, and at that moment, people won't feel like they're part of a family. They won't even be interested in checking up on each other.

(102) So whoever has done much good that their good deeds outweigh the bad. Those are the ones who succeed.

(103) But there are those whose good deeds are few. These are the ones who have lost their way and will face the consequences in Hell forever.

(104) The Fire will scorch their faces, making them look different.

(105) God will ask, "Were My revelations not recited to you, but you chose to ignore them?"

(106) They'll cry, "Our Lord, we let our wrong choices lead us astray and lose our way.

(107)  Please take us out of here. We promise not to make the same mistakes again, or else we will be wrongdoers."

(108) God will reply, "Be ignored! Never speak to Me again!

(109) Indeed, a group of My servants used to pray, 'Our Lord! We believe in you, so please forgive and have mercy on us. You're the Most Merciful!'

(110)  But you were so busy making fun of them that you forgot My remembrance and didn't take them seriously.

(111) Today, I have indeed rewarded them for their patience. They are the ones who succeeded."

(112) God will ask, "How long did you live on Earth?"

(113) They will reply, "Just a short while, maybe a day or even less. You can ask those who keep track of time."

(114) God will say, "You were only there for a little while. If only you knew.

(115) Did you think you were created without a purpose and that you would never return to Us?"

(116) Exalted is God, the True King. No god exists except Him, and He's the Lord of the Honorable Throne.

(117) If someone believes in and worships any god besides God, they can't prove it. Their judgment is with God alone. Indeed, those who don't believe won't find success.

(118) Pray, "My Lord, please forgive and be merciful because You are the Best of those who show mercy."
