In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

(1) Alif, Lam, Ra. This is a Book with perfect verses and clear explanations. It comes from the All-Wise, All-Knowing God.

(2) Say, O Prophet, "Worship only God. I'm here to warn you and share some good news from Him.

(3) Ask for forgiveness from your Lord and turn to Him. He'll give you good things for a while and reward those who do good. But if you turn away, I fear a great punishment will come to you.

(4) You will all return to God in the end, and He is Capable of everything."

(5) They try to cover up their hearts from Him. Even when they use clothes to cover themselves, God still knows what they keep hidden and what they show. God knows your innermost thoughts.

(6) Every living thing on earth gets its food and everything it needs from God. God knows where they live and where they rest. Everything is recorded in a perfect Record.

(7) It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days. His Throne was on the water to test who would do the best deeds among you. And if you tell them, "After death, you will surely be resurrected," the non-believers will say, "This is nothing but pure magic!"

(8) If We don't punish them immediately and give them some time, they wonder, "What holds him back?" But when the punishment finally comes on the destined day, there's no escaping it. They'll be shocked by what they used to make fun of.

(9) And if We give people a taste of Our mercy and then suddenly take it away, they become hopeless and unthankful.

(10) But when We make things go well for them after hard times, they say, "The bad stuff is gone!" They become proud and braggy.

(11) Except for those who are patient and do good, they'll be forgiven and rewarded greatly.

(12) You might feel like letting go of some of the messages you received because you are stressed when they ask, "Why didn't he get a cool treasure, or why didn't an angel show up with him?" You're just here to give a warning, and God takes care of everything.

(13) Or do they say, "He has made this Quran up?" Say, "Then produce ten made-up chapters like it, and get help from others, other than God, if what you say is true!"

(14) But if your friends can't help you, know that the Quran comes from God with His knowledge, and there's no god but Him! Will you then submit to God?

(15) If someone only cares about this life and all its cool stuff, God will reward them with everything they've done while they're alive—nothing will be forgotten.

(16) But in the Hereafter, they will have nothing but the Fire. Everything they do is pointless, and their actions don't count for anything.

(17) Can people with clear evidence from God, supported by the Quran and guided by the Book of Moses, be compared to those who don't believe? Those who have faith in it are on the Right Path. However, those who reject it will end up in the Fire. Don't doubt it—it's the truth from your Lord. Sadly, most people don't believe it.

(18) And who does more wrong than those who make up lies about God? They will stand before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied about their Lord." Indeed, God's curse is upon those who do wrong.

(19) Those who try to stop others from following God's Way, making it seem wrong, and don't believe in life after this one.

(20) They can't escape on earth, and God is the Only One Who can protect them. Their punishment will be multiple because they didn't listen or see the truth.

(21) They lost themselves, and the gods they made up won't help them.

(22) It is for sure that they are the biggest losers in the afterlife.

(23) Those who believe, do good deeds, and are humble before God will live in Paradise forever.

(24) Consider the example of these two parties, the blind and deaf and those who can see and hear. Are they the same? Do you not think?

(25) We sent Noah to his people saying, "Indeed, I was sent to give you a clear warning,

(26) Worship God. You have no other god except Him. I'm really worried that you might face the torture of a painful Day. "

(27) The leaders who didn't believe in him said, "We just see you as a regular person like us. The only ones following you seem to be the less important ones, and they're doing it without thinking. We don't see anything that makes you better than us. We think you're lying."

(28) He said, "O my people! Think about it. If I show you clear evidence from God and He has blessed me with His mercy, which you might overlook. Should we force you to accept it even if you don't want to?

(29) O my people! I'm not asking for anything in return for sharing this message. My reward comes only from God. And I will never turn away those who believe because they will meet their Lord. But it seems like you're doing things without knowing better.

(30) O my people! Who would protect me from God if I let them go? Do you not think about that?

(31) I want to be clear that I don't have access to God's treasuries or know hidden things. I'm not claiming to be an angel, and I'm not saying that God won't bless those you look down upon. God knows what's hidden in people's hearts, and if I said otherwise, I'd be doing something wrong."

(32) They said, "Noah, you've been talking a lot, so if what you're saying is true, go ahead and bring on what you warned us about."

(33) He replied, "It's God who can make it happen if He wants, and you won't be able to escape it!

(34) The guidance I share might not help you, no matter how much I try, if God wants you to go in a different direction. God is your ultimate guide, and you will all return to Him."

(35) Or do they say, "He has made this Quran up?" Say, "If I did, then I'll take the blame for it. But I'm not guilty of the untrue things you're saying about me."

(36) And it was revealed to Noah, “Only those who already believe will have faith among your people. Don't feel upset about what others do.

(37) Build the Ark under Our guidance, and don't ask Me to save those who've done wrong, because they'll be drowned."

(38) While Noah was constructing the Ark, the important people from his community made fun of him. He told them, "If you make fun of us, we'll do the same to you.

(39) You'll soon see who will face disgraceful punishment and who will be punished for a very long time."

(40) When the time came, and water gushed from the oven, We told Noah, "Take into the Ark, a pair of every type of animal, your family and the believers, except those who are meant to be punished." Unfortunately, there were only a few who believed in him.

(41) And he said, "Get on board! In God's Name, let it sail and drop anchor. Surely, my Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

(42) The Ark sailed through enormous waves, and Noah called to his son, who got separated, "My son, come with us; don't stay with the disbelievers."

(43) He answered, "I'll go to a mountain to stay safe from the water." Noah said, "Today, only those who receive God's mercy are safe from His decision!" Then, big waves separated them, and sadly, his son was one of those who drowned.

(44) It was commanded, "Earth, soak up your water. Sky, stop raining." The flood went away, and God's plan was fulfilled. The Ark stopped on Mount Judi, and it was said, "Go away, you people who did wrong!"

(45) Noah cried to God, saying, "My Lord, my son is from my family. Your promise is true, and You are the Wisest."

(46) God said, "Noah, he is not one of your family, and what he's doing is wrong. Don't ask Me about things you don't understand. I warn you not to act ignorantly."

(47) Noah replied, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking about things I don't know. Please forgive me and show me mercy so I won't become a loser."

(48) It was said, "Noah, get off the Ark with God's peace and blessings on you and some of the descendants of those with you. The others will have some good times for a while, but later, they'll face a painful punishment from Us."

(49) This is news. We are sharing with you something unknown to you and your people. Stay patient; good things await the righteous.

(50) God sent the people of A'ad their brother Hud. He Hud said, "O my people! Worship God. You have no other god but Him—everything else you are just making up.

(51) I'm not asking for a reward. My reward comes from the One Who created me. Can't you see that?

(52) My people, ask for forgiveness from your Lord and turn back to Him. He'll send rain from the sky, making you even stronger. Don't turn away and be sinful."

(53) They responded, "Hud, you haven't shown us any proof, and we won't give up our gods or believe in you.

(54) We can only say that some of our gods have influenced you badly." He said, "I swear to God, and you also witness, that I completely reject whatever you link to Him."

(55) Hud challenged them, "If you think I'm wrong, then plan against me all you want. I won't back down.

(56) I trust in God, my Lord, and yours. Every living creature is under His control. My Lord guides us on the Right Path.

(57) If you turn away, I've done my part, and my Lord will find others to take your place. You won't harm Him at all. Indeed, He watches over everything.”

(58) And when Our command came upon them, We saved Hud and his followers through Our Mercy, protecting them from a terrible punishment.

(59) This happened to A'ad. They ignored God's signs, went against His messengers, and followed every stubborn leader.

(60) As a result, they were cursed in this world and the afterlife. A'ad rejected their Lord, and they vanished. So away with A'ad, the people of Hud.

(61) Thamud had their brother Saleh as a messenger. He told his people, "Worship God. You have no other god except Him. He created you from the earth and made you settle in it. Ask Him to forgive you and apologize for your sins. My Lord is close and listens."

(62) They responded, "Saleh, we believed in you before. Are you trying to stop us from worshiping our ancestors' gods? We have doubts about your message."

(63) Saleh replied, "Think about this: if I have clear proof from my Lord and He's shown me mercy, who can protect me from God if I disobey? Disobeying God only leads to loss.

(64) O my people! This is a she-camel from God! It's a sign for you. Let her munch on God's land, and please, don't hurt her, or you might face some severe, very near punishment."

(65) But they went ahead and killed her, so God said, "Alright, enjoy your homes for three days. This is a promise you can't escape."

(66) Then, when Our command came, We saved Saleh and those who believed in him through Our mercy, rescuing them from the embarrassment of that day. Your Lord is the All-Powerful, the All-Mighty.

(67) The big blast hit those acting naughty, and they dropped dead in their houses.

(68) It was like they never even existed there. Thamud rejected their Lord, so away with Thamud.

(69) And some messengers came to Abraham with great news. They said, "Peace!" And Abraham replied, "Peace be upon you!" Then he quickly cooked them up a roasted calf.

(70) But when he saw they weren't reaching for the food, he got suspicious and worried. "No worries. We were sent to the people of Lot," they explained.

(71) Abraham's wife was there, too, and she smiled. They gave her the good news about Isaac and, after him, Jacob.

(72) She said, "Wait, seriously? I will have kids when I'm super old, and my husband is old, too. That's a strange thing!"

(73) They replied, "Are you surprised by God's plan? May God's mercy and blessings be with you and everyone in this house. Truly, He is worthy of praise and full of glory."

(74) After Abraham's initial worries faded and he received good news, he pleaded with Us about Lot's people.

(75) Abraham was known for his patience, tender heart, and how often he turned to God for guidance.

(76) God told Abraham, "Abraham, turn away from this matter. What I've decided will happen, and there's no way to avoid the punishment for those people."

(77) And when Our messengers went to Lot, he felt sad and concerned for them. He said, "This is a tough day."

(78) Lot's people gathered around him, eager to do wrong. He said, "These are my daughters. They are purer for you in marriage. So, please, fear God, and don't embarrass me before my guests. Isn't there anyone among you who thinks clearly?"

(79) They replied, "You know we're not interested in your daughters. You know what we want."

(80) Lot said, "I wish I had the power to stop you or get some strong support."

(81) The messengers told Lot, "Don't worry, we are sent by your Lord. You and your family should leave during the night and not look back, except for your wife. What will happen to them will happen to her. It will all be over by morning. Can't you see that morning is coming soon?"

(82) So, when God's command came, He turned those people upside down and rained down stones made of clay on them, one after another.

(83) Marked by your Lord, these stones are not too far from those pagans who do wrong.

(84) And to the people of Midian, We sent their brother Shuaib. He said, "O my people! Worship God! There's no one else you should worship except Him. Also, be fair in your dealings; don't cheat in measurements. Right now, things might be going well for you, but I'm worried that a tough day of punishment might come your way.

(85) O my people! When you measure things or weigh them, be fair. Don't cheat others out of their stuff or spread corruption in the land.

(86) What God allows you to earn in a good way is way better for you if you believe. I'm not in charge of you."

(87) They said, "Shuaib, does your faith mean we have to stop worshipping what our ancestors worshipped or spend our money however we like? Indeed, you're kind and wise, so tell us."

(88) Shuaib answered, "Look, if I have clear signs from my Lord and He's given me good things, I can't go against what He says. I want to make things right as much as I can. My success depends on God. I trust in Him, and to Him, I return.

(89) Please, my people, don't let your anger towards me lead to a fate like the people of Noah, Hud, or Saleh. And the people of Lot are not far from you.

(90) And remember to ask for forgiveness from your Lord and turn back to Him. My Lord is All-Merciful and Loving."

(91) They threatened, "O Shuaib, we don't get much of what you're talking about, and it seems you don't have much power over us. If it weren't for your family, we'd probably throw rocks at you because you don't mean anything to us."

(92) Shuaib responded, "O my people! Is my tribe more important to you than God? Are you turning your back on Him? Remember, God sees everything you do.

(93) O my people! You do whatever you want, and I'll do the same. The truth will come out, and you'll know who's in big trouble and who's lying. So, watch out, and I'll be right here."

(94) Then, when God's command came, Shuaib and those who believed in him were saved by God's mercy. A disaster struck those who had been wicked, and they were found dead in their homes.

(95) It was as if they had never thrived there. So away with Midian, just like what happened to Thamud!

(96) And indeed, We have sent Moses with clear signs and a clear mission

(97) to Pharaoh and his nobles, but they followed Pharaoh's foolish commands.

(98) He will lead his people to the Fire on the Day of Resurrection. What an evil place to end up!

(99) They are cursed in this life and will get another curse on Judgment Day. What a terrible thing to get!

(100) These are stories of different towns We're telling you about. Some are still around, while others have vanished.

(101) And We didn't mistreat them; they brought trouble upon themselves. The false gods they worshiped couldn't help them when God's judgment arrived; in fact, they made things worse.

(102) This happens when God punishes cities for their sins. His grip is indeed painful and severe.

(103) Certainly, there is a lesson in this for anyone worried about punishment in the afterlife. That is a Day where all of humanity will be gathered and witnessed by all.

(104) The timing is set and only delayed until a specific time.

(105) No one will speak without God's permission on the Day it arrives. Some will be miserable, while others will be pleased.

(106) The miserable ones will face the Fire, where they'll inhale and exhale.

(107) They'll stay there for as long as the sky and earth exist unless God decides otherwise.

(108) The happy ones, though, will be in Paradise, enjoying it for as long as the world stands, as long as God wills it. A never-ending reward awaits them.

(109) Remember what these people worship. They're just following their ancestors. They'll get the punishment they deserve, no less.

(110) And We gave Moses the Scripture, but people argued about it. It would've been settled if not for a word from your Lord. They're uncertain about the Quran.

(111) Your Lord will give everyone what they deserve in full. He is Well Aware of what they do.

(112) Stay upright as you were commanded, O Prophet, with those who submit to God with you. Don't go beyond the limits. God sees everything you do.

(113) Stay away from those who do wrong, or you might get burned by the Fire, with no one to protect you but God. You'd be in big trouble and not be saved.

(114) Pray at the start and end of the day and when night approaches. Good deeds cancel out the bad ones. It's a reminder for those who remember.

(115) Be patient, and God won't let the virtuous go unrewarded.

(116) It would've been great if there were wise people in the past who stood up against corruption, except for a few We saved. But those who were wronged chased after luxuries and did terrible things.

(117) Your Lord won't unfairly destroy cities whose people are good and righteous.

(118) If your Lord wanted, He could have made humanity one community of believers, but people can't seem to agree.

(119) Except for those whom your Lord has shown kindness to. He created them, and your Lord's decision is clear: "I will fill Hell with both jinn and humans."

(120) Every story about the messengers We share with you is meant to strengthen your heart. It's the truth for you, a lesson to learn, and a reminder for those who believe.

(121) And tell those who don't believe, "Do what you want, and we'll do what we want.

(122) And wait; we're waiting too."

(123) God knows all the hidden things in the heavens and the earth, and everything will eventually return to Him. So, worship Him, trust in Him, and know that your actions are always known to your Lord.
